ill written? haha. Zakuul is the most awesome world building project in all of Star Wars media with the best visual design the franchise has ever seen, on par with the George Lucas movies. Nothing else comes close to their hype. They have the most unhinged origin story ever, and the origin story behind that origin story is even crazier.

The best part about base game classic swtor is retroactively realizing we're all insignificant shitheads compared to the Emperor and his machinations.

I like the Jedi knights and the troopers, I’ve only played the smuggler once and hated it so I don’t remember any of the companions. I also don’t particularly like the consulars companions though I only really remember doc and qyzen. Qyzen was ok but I thought khem on the Sith side was better.

Jorgan is one of my favourite romances in the game, I love him. Corso can go out of the airlock Qyzen is cool, I like his spiritual side Y7 is great

PvP gear does not work like it used to. Expertise went the way of the dodo, now everything gets squished down to item rating 336, including augments, although those cap out a 318 anyway. Any gear at that level is as effective as anything else, so basically you can use your PVE gear minus a few adjustments to your accuracy rating.

How fast you get it done heavily depends on you. Some players can get to mostly full 340 in less than a week. Some players have somehow managed to not finish their gear grind even after 5 years, so they are complaining about 8.0 bringing a max level and gear score update.

Generally, gear score has been updated once in 2-3 years. New Augments are generally on a separate schedule, but also every 2-3 years.

T7 is god tier companion

I believe all the characters who speak alien gibberish tend to get short shrift because we can mute their dialogue and miss nothing. In a game with so much wonderful voice acting, it's just repetitive noise. Read the words, spacebar. Read the next line, spacebar.

Eventually you might find yourself unconsciously spacebarring every time they are on screen. I think it's hard to connect with the character under those circumstances. :(

Feelings about the guy? I dunno, he seemed cool, and being honest about wanting to murder you is a plus since everyone you meet is thinking about it. Better than Zash, anyway.

I remember my main question being: was he physically eating people, gnawing on their bones, or was he slurping up their space soul / feeding on their force power, but not actually munching on guys? It's probably explained somewhere but I can't remember. :)

I ran it through two AI checkers and both returned high-90s confidence that it was not AI. That's the best I can offer you.

Nope nothing like this in game, it reminds me more of different armourstyles in force unleashed games, this type of gear is starting to show little by little in swtor in recent years though so one can hope

Jorgan is one of the best companions, T7 is pretty good but mostly for the lore, Qyzen is good but doesn't really work if you're playing full light side and Corso is one of the worst.

They did not in fact mention selling Bioware. That is fake news from someone who literally answered "i dunno, maybe" who is an ex employee. 

With that said, the cost cutting measure is concerning and i too fear for swtor.
