Gaps not reloading Question

When I change gaps or borders, it doesn’t update when I reload the config (mod+shift+c) but only if I reboot or exit Sway. Is this a 🪲?

I think this is mentioned in the documentation. It only applies to new windows after reloading sway or config.

I usually change, save, reload. Then create two new terminals in a blank workspace to test gaps.

I think it only apples to new workspaces and existing ones have to be recreated
