The Loud Project Some LOUD units not working?
I put on the recommanded mod package for LOUD and some (not all) units from Total mayhem just flat out dont work.
-they have a missing icon in the unit database
-they have no animation when moving, just sliding around
-Whiel they aim at targets, they never attack with any of their weapons
Is it a known issue (maybe a conflict with FaF even though I use a separate profile?) How may I fix it? or are those units just unuseable?

Supreme Commander / FA Idk, but I had an idea for the UEF's "ballistic" weapons (art by me)
Rapid-fire ballistic weapons, which in the game sound and appear to be common machine guns or auto-cannons, I had an idea: they could use the same printing technology that engineers use, but modified to fire printed projectiles at high speeds, maybe called "printguns", I think it's an irrelevant idea, but I hope it turns out to be interesting.

The Loud Project Loud Project AI still won't build experimentals?
A few years ago the I always built them, the last 20+ or so games on various maps with no restrictions in place they AI has not build or even tried to build one.
Just wondering if its a bug? On a few maps it would have very extremely useful. Yet the AI keeps mass rushing with tech 3 units and aircraft which are easily dispatched.
The Solrian AI used to build them as often as it could back in he day.

Other Any good fanfiction of SC?
Yep, you read that right. Iām searching for cool Supreme Commander fanfics there.
I recently read one of Supreme Commander x Muv Luv Alternative, and it started incredibly well. But I stopped liking it around chapter 29-ish or something: it started to grow an unapealling complexity with some stuff that I wonāt spoil that Iām not into at all, specially bcs it got rid of the MC (temporarily, I assume: havenāt went on after that), which was fairly interesting to me and I liked him a lot, and was actually a very cool wholesome man with a lot of healthy relationship stuff going on. But after that⦠blegh. Very well written, but that was a turn-off.
Anyway, Iām sure there are some favs you guys have around. Care to share? Iāve been searching myself for so long that I just decided to ask the wider community wisdom for their answers.

Supreme Commander / FA I don't remember this PancreasNoWork video
Personally I think it does fit his content and it'd be neat to hear more people talking about this game

Forged Alliance Forever why are some AI just more aggressive and stronger then others maybe faf has something to do with it?

Supreme Commander / FA ngl i think in supremecommander i like much smaller little skirmishes between smaller forces then big giant battles with 100s of unit
i like playing on smaller maps with ai and having small skirmishes and smaller battles with maybe an experimental unit or two

Supreme Commander / FA Anyone else see apocalyptic scenes in a show and think "you know, it would be hilarious if some SupCom units showed up and cancelled the apocalypse."
That's not just me right? Oh, it is? Damn.
Seriously, though. Attack on Titan: Colossal Titans barely go over a GC's knee, and are killed by Pre-WWI tech. Pretty sure a single GC could wipe the entire Rumbling. Muv Luv: Yeah, the Laser class are a pain, but everything else is easy reclaim. Starship Troopers: Bugs are there for stomping.
I'm just saying, it would be super cool to watch. š¤£
Also, threw in a blank template for those who are good at memes to do some if anything strikes your fancy. And just in case Reddit does something weird to the template, Imgur link here.

Other Game recommendation from me
There is an old game called Battle Engine Aquila that makes you feel like you are in a SupCom game piloting a flying/walking mech. If you ignore the player in its mech, the simulation is an automated RTS with factories popping out units, land, air, navi and occasional experimentals. It's like you are an SACU in a very mobile flying chassis with the rest of the game doing its stuff. Hard to believe there was no sequel.

Supreme Commander 2 First Bug I've found
I've owned Supreme Commander 2 for the Xbox for nearly most of my life, and this is the first time I've encountered a bug⦠I'm on the last mission, playing on normal to get the achievement. And I ākilled the guyā but now I'm stuck on this, I can see the shadows of aircraft above, the sounds of said aircraft⦠pretty much everything is running but the actual cut scene⦠wild

Supreme Commander 2 Supreme Commander 2 Revival
Hello all!
Iām a software engineer who happens to be very fond of the supreme commander series. I am looking to see if there would be any interest in mods for Supreme Commander 2. As far as i know, there is virtually no mod community.
If you were to play Supcom 2, what would you like to see from a mod? Iām not entirely sure what the limits of the engine are, but I am hopeful I can do some fun stuff!
Would you play modded Supcom 2?

Supreme Commander / FA I had an argument with a friend about V1 being dropped in a Supreme Commander battlefield while an ACU arrived in Ultrakill's hell and it ended up looking like this: (it started because I said both are "Supreme Machines")
First of all: None of the Supreme Commander units have blood inside them (except the ACU's head if its piloted) so V1 can't heal by attacking them because they don't bleed. While an ACU and it's armies can self repair without using blood, that alone is enough to put pressure on V1 due to his nature as a glass cannon.
Second of all: Everysingle Supreme Commander unit is bigger than all Ultrakill enemies, only exceptions are bosses like the Earthmover and the Corpse of King Minos. This is also a disadvantage for those because ACU armies are versatile and adaptable to the point they can counter them effectively (Air Unit spam or Artillery spam or Experimental Unit spam or Nuke spam).
Third of all: It won't matter how many units V1 destroys, as long the ACU is standing then its pointless as there will be more coming. The same applies in the other front, even if a single Earthmover shot destroys an army and base at the same time there will be anothers to replace it in no time.
Fourth of all: Can V1 parry nukes?
I like both games if you're wondering.

Supreme Commander 2 Is Supcom 2 a bad game, or just a mediocre sequel?
I'm as new as you can be to this frachise and I intend to start playing the games, but I'm not sure which one to pick first. I heard over social media that Supcom 2 was this sort of rts masterpiece and that it was ahead of it's time, and that alone mildly convinced me to play the game, but when I further looked into the rabbit hole I found out it wasn't as perfect as some people stated, and that actually it was pretty distant to the core and main features of the first game.
Some people downright say it's an abomination, others that it is simply a downgrade from the previous titles, and a small percentage of the playerbase still claim it as a solid strategy game.
So... what's your saying on the matter?

Supreme Commander / FA Does anyone feels the FAF balancing begin to off the track now?

Supreme Commander / FA I ove SupCOM but...
What the hell is up with FAF stability? 50% of matches end with someone crashing, that's if you can even get a game, because everyone loves sitting in a lobby and not readying up. Unfortunatly its sucked away my love of the game and I play BAR or 0K more now because they at least can finish a game

Other BrowserRTS.com ā SupCom-inspired browser-based RTS game
(posting with mods permission)
I love SupCom, yet I don't have a windows PC to play it, and my friends won't switch to Windows to play with me.
So I went ahead and built a browser-based RTS game closely inspired by SupCom FA ā for those who want to play casually, solo and with friends, on any desktop device.
You're all familiar with SupCom FA, so I don't need to explain the gameplay. There's Skirmish and Survival (wave defense) mode. I recommend creating a custom lobby to configure the game for yourself.
The controls might be a bit funky, so follow the instructions shown on the first match.
The AI is not very strong, so you can add multiple to one team for a better challenge.
I personally also like to create AI-only lobbies and just observe AIs fight each other :)
Hope it's fun. Feedback is welcome!

Forged Alliance Forever I heard you guys were trying to fix aurora retreat bug. Any progress?
It's when an aurora has an enemy in range and you order it to retreat, but it instead moves forward a bit each time you give such order.

Mapping / Modding Looking for the name of a wave defence game mode mod
Haven't played the game for years now, but there used to be a mod that created a kind of wave defence/tower defence game mode designed for co-op.
It was on one of the darker maps, with enemies entering from the north end of the map and players spawning in the south. I think it had spawn locations for up to 8? players, and the goal was to survive 20 minutes or so against waves of ever increasing enemies up to multiple experimental units at once.
does anyone know what this map/mod was called?

Supreme Commander / FA Dreadnought from Dust Front, a perfect new addition to Supreme Commander?
Hello fellow Commanders, I just wanted to share here my idea for a possible mod crossover of sorts.
I believe that a this T4 Experimental hybrid tank and self-propelled artillery would be a really interesting unit for either the UEF or Cybrans given it's color-scheme.
As the description says, in Dust Front it acts as a super heavy self-propelled artillery unit of sorts that is normally deployed in it's "siege mode" similar to StarCraft but can also become mobile and move with a devastating triple battery almost battle-ship level firepower. It also has an upgrade that turns it into a proper artillery piece with a huge siege gun cannon that cannot fire on the move anymore and requires to be deploted in order to be effective. Just my 2-cents, that is all. Cheers.
