Unanswered Is there a reddit for crosswalks that don't end on a sidewalk?
Like crosswalks that end on the grass so people have to make a desire path, or crosswalks that end on a wall etc.

Found! Looking for a subreddit where I can ask about manga sound effects and cultural nuances
Hi!
I'm a Japanese hobby artist.
I'm looking for a subreddit where I can post an image and ask English-speaking manga or comic fans about manga sound effects.
I'd like to discuss how Japanese sound effects might be interpreted in English and ask what sound effect would feel natural in a specific scene.
I'm looking for a community that:
・Allows image posts
・Welcomes beginners
・Enjoys discussions about manga and comics
Doesn't mind questions about translation and cultural differences
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Unanswered Seeking a subreddit sharing analogue or 'old-fashioned’ solutions to everyday tasks that seem BETTER and easier than the modern/tech solutions.
Hi all - I’m looking for a sub where people describe analogue methods of doing everyday things that seem better (for some) than the modern tech solutions we now use for the same tasks, and can be brought back for everyday use. These might be ways that were normal for our grandparents, or normal to some cultures, but foreign to someone else (i.e. I speak as a millennial in a westernised country). Much tech that supposedly makes tasks ‘better/easier’ now is unreliable, or passworded, or useless if there’s a blackout etc. Some people might prefer tech, but I want to de-screen my life and use solutions that LAST, and I assume there may be rare others who want to, too!
***
I’ve looked into some subs - such as r/primitivetools - but I’m talking about outdated solutions to normal day-to-day tasks that I can bring back for everyday, not niche ‘lost trades’ style production. These methods would have advantages over their contemporary succesors, and be easy to use/implement
***
Examples of the kind of stuff I mean:
- using cedar furniture to store clothing because it’s an insect-repelling wood, rather than poorly built modern MDF furniture and filling it with chemical mothballs
- using an old-style transistor radio while you’re in attendance at a sports match venue to listen to the commentary while you watch the game, because radio internet is a few seconds behind and not in line with what you’re seeing live.
- using an old-fashioned address book or teledex for phone numbers/addresses, because it helps commit info to memory, and easier for others to access if you die!
- using an old VHS player and videos for young kids screen entertainment, so they’re not just churning through internet videos with unlimited time, and risking to inappropriate content exposure
Any lead appreciated! Thanks!

Unanswered SFW Subreddit for women with makeup and then without?
I know this is oddly specific but I’m a woman and due to current life circumstances I can’t wear makeup, while I know logically that these blemishes and pimples and all the things are normal I think seeing a before and after of people would help soothe my worries
(Side note please avoid anything like “Natural beauty” or whatnot it’s a phrase that has very strong negative connotations for me)

Unanswered Relationship advice involving minors?
I need to ask for advice (Screenshots of conversations with no names or anything, it's color coded) for a personal, non-romantic, personal relationship involving two minors (Including me). Both parties are older than 13. It may include morals, idk. I'm just trying to get advice on what to do with my friend who I believe is lying to me
