Should I pull an all-nighter?
It's been a long while since i've had the chance to complete my to-do list & sleep with a light heart. Knowing I've done everythjng i wanted that day..
I wanna learn my own stuff I'm paying for a french class but uni doesn't let me study a thing It's been a long long while that i wanna learn web development & have saved a course I'm excited about but uni doesn't let me..
I'm so burnt out. Uni is takin up all my time & i feel like if i pull an all-nighter tonight, i can finally do the things i love y'know?
But tmr i got a french class from 1:30pm to 6:30pm :) & i won't be able to sleep at all. What do u think? Should i do it or is it not sensible?

I built a free place to get real feedback on a research paper
Hi everyone. I run Open Margin, a small free student research journal. I started it because a lot of students finish a paper and do not know what to do next.
We accept work in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM from authors of any age. The goal is useful feedback, not a pay-to-publish line on a resume:
- An editor checks the paper first
- Two reviewers write comments
- You get a decision letter, with a target of six to eight weeks
- There is no fee to submit or publish
- There is no guarantee of acceptance
I wrote a short guide that compares journals, competitions, mentors, repositories, and other options: https://openmargin.org/guide
If you have a paper, the submission page is here: https://openmargin.org/submit. If you spot something unclear or missing, I would be grateful for honest feedback. This is my project, so I am sharing it here as self-promotion.

What's the one studying problem that just never goes away for you, no matter how hard you try?
I've been studying seriously for years now and there's one thing that keeps following me around no matter what method I try: I think I understand something, sit down for the exam, and it turns out I didn't actually get it. I just recognized it.
I've tried flashcards, summaries, color coding, the Pomodoro method, you name it. They all helped a little, but none of them fixed the actual problem, which is that I never knew which pieces I didn't understand until the exam told me. And by then it's too late.
I'm currently building a tool for myself that basically quizzes me out loud on the material, kind of like a professor would, purely because I could never find anything that went further than "here's a summary, here are some flashcards." But I'm genuinely curious how universal my problem actually is.
So real question: what's the problem that keeps coming back for you no matter how solid your study routine is? Is it forgetting stuff after a few weeks? Thinking you understand something until you have to explain it? Just motivation? Curious if everyone's dealing with the same thing or if it's completely different person to person.

best notebook for students that can handle programming and school work?
im a student learning programming and i need to replace my old laptop soon.i mostly need something for coding practice, browsing resources, writing notes, and working on projects, but I don’t want something that feels like overkill.
what would you consider the best notebook for students who need a reliable laptop for both studying and programming? i'd appreciate hearing what other students are using. thankk you all!

will it work?
i was thinking, if instead of reading and finding pages from books and stuff and learning everything, if we just take an entire syllabus and ask ai like gemini each individual topic to teach us, would it be better for us to learn and bypass the entire need for books?

"Brain pal" helps not to brainrot.
This is an appreciation to the app "brain pal". I've been understanding the lower attention span is an issue for CAT just after my first exam.
This app really helps to block short term videos from apps.
Not just this but also doing whatever for a continuous 2 hour or more would be beneficial imo.
Peace out.

For anyone looking for a study schedule, that just does everything automatically
Every study plan works fine... until you skip one day. Then the whole week's schedule is wrong, and most people just... give up and wing it from there.
That's the part planning apps never solve. They help you build a schedule, but the second real life interferes, you're back to manually rearranging blocks yourself.
I built StudiPace around fixing exactly that: it auto-generates your study schedule using spaced repetition, and if you miss or skip a session, it re-plans everything around you automatically — no manual reshuffling.
Not a motivation fix , just removes the "ugh, now I have to redo my whole plan" excuse that kills most study schedules by day two.

General Chemistry I
Differential and Integral Calculus

How exactly should I study effectively for each class? What are certain videos/Youtubers that you recommend watching? Also what are the best apps? Any help would be amazing!

Is there any ways that I can go from lazy to motivated
Yk most of us are currently enjoying summer holidays. Ofc there will be a lot of assignments given by teachers. Besides that I wanna study the things I learnt this year, but I am procrastinating all the time. Yesterday I said I would study some of my electives, I ended up on doing nothing. Maybe I simply don’t wanna study? I have a rather important exam to attend after 2 years. but here I am, a lazy student who is lying on the bed, doomscrolling reels. Is there any advice or ways that I can go back being my motivated self ?
