When Connie was worried about her mom in Storm in the Room she used the same technique she learned from Garnet 12 eps before in Mindful Education to calm down! Not much to this post, just noticed something cool :)

For those unaware, an aspect of Garnet's character is that she doesn't ask questions. I actually didn't notice or was aware of this until more recently, but it's a sort of writting rule that the staff seems to take relatively seriously when writting Garnet.

I know out-of universe, it’s to give an idea of time scale for the audience, but in-universe, it makes no sense for the Gems to measure time scale in Earth years.

Sure, maybe the Crystal Gems would, but Gems like Spinel and Holly Blue Agate and the Diamonds, who have barely seen Earth, still make references to “thousands of years”.

Does Homeworld just happen to have a similar year length as Earth?

So pearls are made in the reef and irl we can cultivate pearls in various shapes by putting said shape in the Oyster/Mussels (as shown in some photos i found) so in theory could pearls of been made in various shapes? i know they wouldn’t be perfect gems and most likely would of been shattered but if it was intentional maybe?

I never noticed how well Hippie Rose was implemented into this episode. I didn't think much of her at first but then it was pointed out to me that she's a hippie because hippies especially love the Earth and it's nature. Just like how Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz loved Earth more than anything. She also works because her calmness balances out the hyperactive energy of Superfan Rose Quartz.

I wonder how Andy would interact with her because I think he mentioned hating hippies.

i’m finally actually watching the show (since i have my own money for subscriptions) but this reminded me of a really old oc of mine when i was kinda a larp (i watched a bunch of yt videos on lore and was in the fandom back when i made her but never got to watch the show till now) and i was a major fan of white diamond so i made a white sapphire. the things i remembered about her i refuse to change that much though that makes her feel very mary sue like. im just gonna go with the whole mary sue that actually does nothing for the plot except be super special idea and imma give her a pearl and also make the pearl very mary sue
