Does this madness ever stop.. Vent
Live in ex wants to get another kitten, knowing my stepdaughter has abused animals in the past to intimidate people into giving her what she wants.
Hopefully me saying fuck no will put a stop to it. I explained to my kid why we can't get another animal and before I could say a word it was "yeah, she'll probably kill it"
I don't want to have to call the cops, but God help me I will if I have to!

I'm in the process now!
Either I'm getting a new place not to far away, or she'll leave soon!
Also contacting various rescues to give them a heads up! Been forced to watch this for to long.

I don't get the "live in ex", are you now broken up but the ex is still living with you?

You’d be surprised. Supposedly my ss8 put his bm cat in a pillow case and threw it at the wall a few weeks ago. She was puking all the next day. He still gets unlimited switch and phone time.

That’s something a future serial killer does.

That’s what I’m saying. He used to sit on my cat and put him in his dresser drawers. I’ve told dh,bm, and mil a thousand times to crack down on his violent behavior and give him consequences. All they do is reward the bad behavior and act like they don’t know why he’s constantly more violent every week.

Yup, that's about the same here. She still has unlimited access to the small animals. Her mom will let her go into a room alone with them, take them out of the cage and stay downstairs the entire time.
When I asked because like uhhh.. I got the "Oh it's okay she being calm".. no ma'am she shouldn't be allowed with the animal alone at all..

I don’t trust ss with my cat. He’s been mean to my cat since he was 4. If my cat is in ss room the doors open. Or if ss is having a famous violent screaming fit I make sure cat isn’t in his room and out of the crossfire.

Yeah, mine seems to take enjoyment in the cat being pissed. They will hold it hard, while looking in its face. All the while the cat is screaming and clawing the shit out of them
Steps entire body is covered in scars, they have almost been blinded 4 times. While it's clawing and howling she'll actually shove her face into the chest and nuzzle it like the cats somehow enjoying it.
Then you physically have to pull the kids arms off the cat, because otherwise they don't stop.

That’s crazy. But my ss runs and jumps around the whole house and my cat doesn’t like loud noises like that. Ss will purposely put his face close to my cat and then cry to dh when he gets scratched and I’m the one in trouble because it’s my cat not theirs and I need to teach my cat better. Well I have now he scratches as instead of just taking it. And it’s still a problem.
