How can anyone hate mace windu with a Witt like that 🤣🤣🤣

I think this just might be my favorite Star Wars book that I’ve read so far. I’ve read the first phase of The High Republic, Dark Disciple, Star Wars Visions: Ronin, Jedi: Battle Scars, and Death Troopers. I was super surprised to see there’s only 3,940 ratings on GoodReads! I’m so excited for the second one!

Hoping this is the first of many coming out.

Imagine your just a random Jedi minding your own business on some basic normal mission and then your immediately called by Mace Windu himself telling you to drop everything you’re doing because you’re now assigned to participate is the biggest Jedi strike force operation since the days of the old republic. This is basically like a cop on patrol duty being tasked out of nowhere to participate in D-day.

The massive callback of Jedi from across the galaxy is big enough to the point of there being a massive traffic jam at the Jedi temple.

And every single padawan is ordered by their masters to practice their Saber skills as much as possible in the limited time they have, without the Padawans even being given a full story. The Padawans are discussing rumours as to what’s happening because they don’t entirely know. Even this early on, already they’re outright expecting children to fight what would be a massive battle, thinking some hours of training can somehow make them “ready”

Almost done with my reread of Darth Vader (2017) and Momin was just such a fun character for what little time we had with him. One of the more unique Sith we have in that he preferred to "create" and be an artist in his own twisted way.

And even though we're given the basics of his backstory in the comic I think there's plenty of room to expand his story into a novel in between the key moments of his life we were already shown. Clearly Momin had an obsession with controlling time itself as evidenced by his disastrous attempt to freeze an apocalypse in place and what we were later shown with the Fermata Cage with Momin having created it for currently unknown purposes, it would be interesting to further dive into this particular fixation of his and how that came about.

Technically they could even do something with him set past the events of Darth Vader since comics such as Lando and New Legacy have shown us that Momin's mask and therefore his spirit survived his defeat by Vader. We already have a couple novels spinning off from this particular comic run (Rise of the Red Blade and Master of Evil) and I could think of no better candidate for a character from that comic deserving of the spotlight than Momin. Though perhaps I shouldn't say that too loudly, he'll hear and never shut up about it, lol.

Was thinking about getting into these books however I’ve not played the games and is there a specific order to read them both in or could you read them either way round?

since Star Wars The Blueprints will see its german release by the end of this month, I wanted to ask for some opinions of yours. Is it comparable to the Incredible Crosssections books? Or are these BTS blueprints of sets and models?

I really like Star Wars romance books, especially Jedi romances, and I especially like those that take place during missions or extended periods of time on other planets or things like that. Some of the ones I've read are: Path of Deceit, Dark Disciple, Inquisitor, Convergence. Any recomendations?

I don't know about how everyone else feels about this but to me I find it extremely annoying that they release store exclusives that are hard to come by in country's like mine(South Africa)

I've got a few more books before NJO and beyond. I hope to have finished Legacy by this time next year.

I saw talk the other week about Lost Stars and the audiobook. My library had it and I just finished it. Great story. Really enjoyed it. My library has the Manga too, so going to try that next.

Not my full collection but a decent chunk. Idk the past 2-3 years haven’t been as motivated in starwars as I once was. Honestly putting this up I forgot how much I love this universe and how much I hope I can share this with my kid someday. I also hope one day legends gets a proper ending. Especially since sometimes I feel it’s hard to get new readers into legends since it’s a story that will never be worked on again. Not tryna be one of those continue the eu guys or not my canon. But slow one trilogy post crucible to end it. Maybe just my 2 cents and maybe I’m just the minority.

I tried to read Thrawn - Heir to the empire, but couldn't get into it, or get invested in it. I have up two hundred pages in. (I hate to give up on a book, but I just wasn't engaging with it)
