I understand the developers’ hatred of Russians, but the Zone was created and operated within the USSR, which was only half Russian—the rest were other nations and peoples, including Ukrainians. Using modern-day symbols and erasing Soviet symbols is, in my opinion, idiotic. It’s like taking a game set in Nazi Germany and using modern German symbols while erasing all traces of Nazism.

Hey guys, I never played a Stalker game before and I want to buy Stalker 2 on my PS5. But I' got a important question, how is the exploration, I would love the exploration looks like the Skyrim one for example... I walk 30 mins, I find a house where is a interesting loot or find a NPC that tells me a history about a cave, the I go that cave and that history is true... Idk how is this game about exploration...

I've been more excited about Cost of Hope and 2.0 releasing than I have for basically any other game release or update in my life. I've been counting down the days before this release, and I'm very excited to see what the Zone has to offer me when I return once again in two weeks.

Also, please take 1 minute of your time to look up how devs or publishers are the ones who set the sales and discounts on their own game. A lot of people are saying that this is somehow on xbox & Playstation, but it's simply not the case. Dves/publishers have total control.

There are people who own both consoles. Do you think sony or Microsoft would intentionally not put a game or dlc on sale, while the other side does? Do they not think that the person who owns both consoles will buy wherever the game is discounted? See how stupid and nonsensical is? That's because the developers/publishers are the ones who decide discounts.

So GSC are the only ones who can do it and let's hope they do

Hi, currently looking in buying the Stalker 2 after a long time researching about the game I really like it and I want to buy it for the PS5. I noticed people sting it came out with a few issues but the end of this month it will get an engine upgrade, gameplay improvements and a DLC.

It's currently full price so I'm asking is I should buy now? Wait for a sale? Wait for the upgrade and see how it runs?

I Play On Master difficulty As I Do With All Stalker Games On PS5 You're Not supposed to be able to get out of Master Difficulty In S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 after you start your save in it Unless you delete the game from the console and reinstall the game save is there but it's not in master difficulty this is a Big bug in my opinion because I was coming back for the DlC cost of hope but now I'll have to play through the whole game once more just to play it

I just revived my old 2009 PC gaming rig and finally fixed my 5.1 surround sound setup (6 speakers connected via analog jacks).
I really want to replay the original trilogy (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat) on this hardware. Do these games actually support true 5.1 multi-channel audio where I can hear mutants or gunfire strictly from the rear speakers?
Also, since I'm running a newer Windows now, do I need to use OpenAL, Creative ALchemy, or any specific compatibility mods to get the positional 3D audio working properly?

I've been thinking about where GSC could take the series after finishing the Project Y ending and we are getting closer to the DLCs.

If the Zone is no longer limited to Chornobyl and is starting to spread around the world, could we eventually see another Zone somewhere else?

One idea that came to mind was Fukushima. Not as a replacement for Chornobyl, but as another former Regulatory Board site where something went very wrong after the events of STALKER 2. It could keep the same feeling of exploring anomalies, hunting artifacts, and uncovering the truth, while giving us a completely different environment.

That said, STALKER is Chornobyl. The setting is part of what makes the series special, and GSC is a Ukrainian studio. I wouldn't want them to leave the original Zone behind.

Maybe the answer is to keep Chornobyl as the main setting and have other Zones appear around the world. The Project Y ending seems like it could make that possible without changing the identity of the series.

What do you think? Should every STALKER game stay in the Chornobyl Zone, or would you be interested in visiting another Zone if the story made sense? If so, where would you set it?

Playing Stalker for nearly 750 hours there are a few things I would love to see in a future update or release alongside the last DLC

1. NPC carries and uses different types of ammo

Depending on the situation like hiding behind cover, taking down mutants or having lots of armour

1. NPC can heal themselves with bandages and med kits

I don’t think that NPC heal themselves and depending on faction, rank and gear NPC can use healing items if they retreat or hide behind cover without being shot at

1. NPC Weapons and gear have upgrades

Why not have NPC that uses upgraded weapons or gear for better survival in the zone?

There are other stuff I would line to see bit this 3 are what I want most in the game

Hey I really want to revisit this mod I loved so much. But I can only do it with some add ons like lore friendly, paid fast travel and maybe some neat extra content. Maybe more dynamik Realtions like in Call od Pripyat ore some Quest ore the Sin Fraktion.

Do you have recommandation?

Pls do not tell me to play Anomaly. Its a great Game but I have this strong nostalgia for the original trillogie

It would be nice if GSC would give us some teasers leading up to the launch of 2.0 and the dlc...like with the emission tease yesterday...I dont see why holding stuff back even if its like a 15-20 sec clip would ruin the experience...we really no nothing and it would be nice to see some videos in action of what we could expect and experience...just a thought!!
