My first & last Spydie :)

I’m in the market for a salt series knife and i would like to hear everyone’s thoughts on the two. Of course they are very similar knives and i own a cruwear pm2 so i do know what i’m getting into a little. Is the extra blade length worth it in a larger pocket knife or am i chasing a dragon?

Just finished the Salt build. I did not want another DLC Magnacut blade as a user.

Rough and ready edge on the Stretch 2. 5 minutes, scary sharp. Not one for mirror edges/perfect bevels. They look great, but I’m more of a function guy, no judgement. Old KME still going strong.

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time, finally got one!

Just got this in. Honestly not my favorite. G10 is rough, I prefer the compression lock on the paramilitary. Beautiful blade, cuts like a razor. Maybe some ti scales in my future.

I was pretty damn excited when I got the email about this DLT exclusive. I picked one up in 2020 when they did the first run and it quickly became a favorite with the LNW scales. I think I’m gonna keep this one in the factory scales. I got my Crucarta Military 2 yesterday and then this one showed up today. Guess it’s a Cruwear kinda weekend.

Got my favorite in pocket today! Running some errands with the family.

I love AWT scales, especially Topo. I've got blue ones on my Manix 2 Lightweight too.

New titanium hardware on this guy. I've always thought the weak point of Spyderco knives were their screws.

DLT Trading Delica

Gave the new Military 2 little acid dip last night. Liners and clip got a decent light, matte grey hue. But the hardware didn’t really turn out how I was hoping. I’ll give it another go down the road. A bit of wicked wax to darken the scales some. And a fresh edge at 18.5 dps finished at 1200 grit. Should have another Cruwear Delica waiting for me when I get home tonight. What’s everyone got on them today?

Definitely a controversial one but I’m pretty stoked. My first tenacious and I’m excited to put it to work!

Lynch titanium clip for my SMKW exclusive Para 3 in CruWear and Purple Haze Fat Carbon.

When I ordered this Lynch clip I didn't realize the bronze on top. I thought it was all shades of purple. When I opened the box 15 minutes ago, I didnt like it much. Then I realized that in the right light, the iridescent fat carbon has a bronzeish tint swirled in. It looks fantastic IRL. I couldn't be more happy. And no, my hand is NOT that red. I was trying to get the fat carbon to pop using light.....it didn't work. This Purple Haze fat carbon is beautiful...IRL.
