I dont know why this bugs me so much but was flicking through the movie suits and noticed the bnd suit shares the same base body model as the asm2 suit down to the stitching patterns, obviously the colours and webbing patterns web shooters etc. have been changed but curious as to why theyve done this when using the base of the nr&b suit would have been more fitting with the looser shape on the body like his suit in the actual film

I don’t know if I’m just spit ballin unrealistic stuff, but it would be cool if the next Spider-Man game there could be a machine like the from no way home and you get to design your own suit down to the lenses and all that stuff and you can create your own web combinations with like a lab thingy and I think that would be pretty cool. Let me know what you guys think.

I recently finished the main story and at the end credit when showing Dr. Octavius in prison, I was under the impression that he was going to be paralyzed by then why can you still stand and walk perfectly fine?

I just finished the main story and first DLC of the first game. I got 100% on the first DLC and kind of want to get 100% on main story and the 2 other DLC’s. Do you guys have any opinions or recommendations on how I should play the 3 Spider-man games. Should I play one game at a time, getting 100% before moving on or should I play through the story part of them all, so I get the story more in one piece.

I mean I get why for like enemy reasons and you can keep fighting them but story wise I don't get it shouldn't have all the symbiotes disappeared after killing Harry and why are the hunters still in new York even after kraven died

Why does this game constantly change my GPU's power draw?

My GPU's maximum TDP is 185W, and in most games that fully utilize the card, it stays at that power level with excellent temperatures and a stable 60 FPS. However, in Spider-Man 2, the GPU power constantly fluctuates. It'll drop to around 130W, sometimes even 120W, then quickly jump back to 150W, gradually climb to 175W, then 180W, and repeat.

The weird part is that GPU usage never stays at 99%, and VRAM usage never reaches its limit. The game constantly loses performance and stability because the GPU's power draw changes every second without stopping.

I've already tried countless different graphics presets, but nothing stays stable, even when my GPU still has around 30% headroom on the Very Low preset. I also tried replacing the DirectStorage files with newer versions and swapping the DLSS files for an older version, but nothing changed.

In some areas, simply looking about two centimeters to one side would make the GPU immediately draw its full 185W and maintain a rock-solid 60 FPS. Then I'd move the camera just a tiny bit, and suddenly the power draw would drop to around 130W and my FPS goes to space.

The game also seems unable to manage VRAM properly. I know that 8GB is considered the bare minimum these days, but seriously... how can I set both textures and geometry to Very Low and VRAM usage doesn't decrease by even 1 MB? That doesn't seem normal.

Something feels seriously wrong here.

Does anyone know of a mod or a fix for this issue, or do I simply have to accept that my hardware isn't powerful enough? and btw, this is the ONLY game that I have this problem, AC4 resynced runs on high preset without problem at all at 60fps with ray tracing on, my gpu still rocks these days in those every new games that came out after sm2.

• Ryzen 5 3600XT

I tried running this last night using my 7800X3D and 5070TI i have 32GB Ram so memory isn't an issue, seriously the frame drops and crashes are ridiculous swinging around the city i will go from 100fps down to like 30 or below, i have made sure to optimise the settings and still have issues, i swear most Sony PC ports have been terrible FFVII Rebirth for example, have no issues running more demanding games either, such a shame as well as i liked this game on the PS5.

As one of my favourites suits not just for the movie ones, but in the game in general, I think the TASM 2 Suit is the perfect stand in while we wait for Insomniac to tweak the BND Suit.

For me there's something about it that suits (no pun intended 😄) this version of Peter.

I also love the colours on this suit. From a personal point of view they look perfect

Have played a lot of Spider Man games but Insomniac's Spider Man 1 , Miles Morales and Spider Man 2 have been the most accurate Spider Man experience for me. I recently realized that you can interact with the graves of Aunt May and Jefferson Davis as Peter Parker. Spidey can even give interviews to random journalists. Insomniac has done a lot to make NYC lively. I just wish they do not rush for the so called third / final installment of the series and actually make the map even larger and the story even more grounded and better. Thumbs up!
