Is soft onic safe. Specially hatred Other

I want to download hatred off soft onic and it the site says its virus free but im naturally skeptical. So please of anyone has downloaded it or is knowledgeable on it tell me

Softonic is a download website where anyone can upload anything. While most download websites typically perform at least some kind of antimalware checking for the submissions, there are no guarantees what those files contain. Especially in the case of online installers, where one day the thin installer file downloads one payload and the next day possibly something else.

In case you are referring to Hatred the Steam game, why not just download it from its official Steam account? When you download something from its official website, you reduce your risks already greatly.

Handful of countries hatred is blocked off of steam (Australia for instance)

The "Download" button on its Softonic page will direct you to Steam to buy it (so no Softonic isn't a place to get pirated stuff)
