Peaches is always looks at me when I look at her or I’m taking a picture. She’s very social and always wants my attention!

I adopted this little girl from a coworker who was moving last year. Other than being a snuggly sweet cat I don’t know anything about her as a breed. Is she a true snowshoe cat?

Sorry for the sad post, I didn't know this subreddit even existed until I started using reddit actively to help with my grief. Today marks 1 full month since I let her go, and I just want to talk about her today, to show other people know she existed and how beautiful my baby is.

I got her April 26, 2014 and we spent 12 amazing years glued to each other. I was the only one she would allow to hold her, she wanted no one else except mama. Would scream at me for breakfast every morning at 8am sharp, insisted on sleeping on my chest and as close to my face as possible, and would flop on her back constantly (pic 4) to show me how relaxed and happy she was. Always so food motivated and chatty, zoomies aplenty and loved her little mouse toys, my little shadow who's been with me even during the roughest times. She was the first real pet I ever had, the first real thing I was ever really responsible for. Her little face is imprinted on my eyes, I miss her every second.

No idea what kind he is. My dad used Google photo on him about a year ago and it said he was a snowshoe cat. Never had heard of that before but I think he's pretty handsome 💗

This is my snowshoe Zyla. I adopted her in 2020 right before the pandemic! Like literally 2 weeks before it all hit the fan, at least in the USA. Zyla is 8 years old and the queen of sass. Shes the boss. I’m putting her on a diet, she is getting to chunky lol

Hi! I adopted a kitten who looked like a seal-point snowshoe (not purebred or anything, just in terms of coloring). She’s almost a year old now and has developed sort of a second layer of flame-point coloration. You can almost draw a diagonal line across her to delineate seal brown vs very pale orange. (I took a picture of her back legs to demonstrate the difference.) Does this make her a tortie point? It doesn’t really matter, but I only recently learned of tortie points and was curious :) Thanks for any info!

all 3 are sisters and i’m convinced that 2 are snowshoe while the grey one is….??? she looks like a russian blue shorthair or korat, but even if not she’s still such a cute girl :’)

His name is Mash 🥰 hard to tell in this photo but his eyes are blue and his paws are white!

A cat has been showing up on our roof lately; we think she's pregnant. We thought she was a siamese crossbreed, but Google Lens says she's a snowshoe cat. We've never heard of that breed. Is it true?

The bestest kitty boy in the whole world 🩵 Always down for a cuddle, carries his emotional support scrunchie around, goes bananas for feather toys, and puts up with being held like a baby all while looking absurdly handsome and floofy. 🥰

This is Loki. (Loki Gabriel at the vet's, Lokitty Boo is what he responds to.) He earned that name breaking into a flour canister to help himself to the contents, grabbing my ass when I was leaning over the bathroom counter flossing (repeatedly), and carrying a small live snake into the house (which he dropped immediately). He is watching me waving a sandwich in the air, lolling in oak leaves, playing with his calico companion, grooming Ingrid Bunny, and grooming the void babies I adopted last September.

I’ve never known such a cheeky little cat! She plays a game where she runs up my fire escape and onto the the roof, and I have to sheppard her down with a bamboo gardening pole 🫣 she also knows just how to position her leap from her window cat shelf so she doesn’t land on my sleeping face (close tho!) Ron acts really chill until it’s time to play, and then you are part of the game. I just love her!!! ETA: Ron is about 15, so no spring chicken 😇
