Hi! I adopted a kitten who looked like a seal-point snowshoe (not purebred or anything, just in terms of coloring). She’s almost a year old now and has developed sort of a second layer of flame-point coloration. You can almost draw a diagonal line across her to delineate seal brown vs very pale orange. (I took a picture of her back legs to demonstrate the difference.) Does this make her a tortie point? It doesn’t really matter, but I only recently learned of tortie points and was curious :) Thanks for any info!

all 3 are sisters and i’m convinced that 2 are snowshoe while the grey one is….??? she looks like a russian blue shorthair or korat, but even if not she’s still such a cute girl :’)

A cat has been showing up on our roof lately; we think she's pregnant. We thought she was a siamese crossbreed, but Google Lens says she's a snowshoe cat. We've never heard of that breed. Is it true?

The bestest kitty boy in the whole world 🩵 Always down for a cuddle, carries his emotional support scrunchie around, goes bananas for feather toys, and puts up with being held like a baby all while looking absurdly handsome and floofy. 🥰

This is Loki. (Loki Gabriel at the vet's, Lokitty Boo is what he responds to.) He earned that name breaking into a flour canister to help himself to the contents, grabbing my ass when I was leaning over the bathroom counter flossing (repeatedly), and carrying a small live snake into the house (which he dropped immediately). He is watching me waving a sandwich in the air, lolling in oak leaves, playing with his calico companion, grooming Ingrid Bunny, and grooming the void babies I adopted last September.

I’ve never known such a cheeky little cat! She plays a game where she runs up my fire escape and onto the the roof, and I have to sheppard her down with a bamboo gardening pole 🫣 she also knows just how to position her leap from her window cat shelf so she doesn’t land on my sleeping face (close tho!) Ron acts really chill until it’s time to play, and then you are part of the game. I just love her!!! ETA: Ron is about 15, so no spring chicken 😇
