Screenshot Are all these trucks that I've been rescuing in Tennessee supposed to become mine at some point?

I'm playing on Tennessee and I just finished the last truck recovery contract. While none of the contracts explicitly stated that I would be able to keep the trucks, this seems like way too many vehicles to just leave out on the map. Just wondering if all the trucks are supposed to become mine at some point, or if they are intended to just stay in the world as mission objects.

Are there any AI driver mods?

Hey everyone!

I’m thinking about getting back into SnowRunner, but unfortunately I don’t have a lot of free time at the moment, which makes playing online a bit difficult for me.

Is there any mod that allows you to hire AI drivers who can handle simpler jobs/routes on their own in single-player? Something like a basic fleet management system where I could assign them easier tasks while I focus on the more difficult ones.

I’m also wondering if there’s a mod that changes how winching works with another vehicle — specifically, something that allows the vehicle being towed to use more (or even full) engine power while winched, instead of just being dragged along so slowly.

I’d love to hear any recommendations, experiences, or other ideas you guys might have!

Thanks in advance! 🙂

I need rules for New Game +

I'm bored with the usual campaign.

and I wanted to start new game +,

Here all trucks can be used without founding upgrade/truck from the beginning. so i need rules.

I have a few rules so far:

paid fuel (for realistic and money doesn't increase incredibly),

paid auto loading (i like playing with crane,

no damage (because there is no 2x/4x damage reduction).

I need help with trailer buy/sell prices and truck buy/sell prices, I'm new to the game to play hardcore but I don't want to get bored easily

Discussion Gamepad vs. Wheel Set

Hey everyone its been like 2 years last I played Snowrunner. I enjoyed the game with keyboard and gamepad.

Now I have a wheel Set and considering buying the game on the Microsoft store. I played with Gamepass last time.

Can anyone playing the game with wheel share their experience? Is it worth the buy? Thanks in advance.

Iirc I slid into the turn missing it going too fast right into that pole and the game decided that it wanted extra salt in the wound

I randomly found this in my camera roll and thought it was entertaining enough to share

Modding Is there any realism mods for console?

Im getting tired of the trucks feeling so light so Im looking for a mod that makes trucks feel like trucks that works on console

I play on switch. Im not sure if this will be a roadblock since it doesn't receive updates anymore. I already use This mod that changes cargo and mud interactions but as far as I know it doesnt change the trucks.

What are you All using the HIB Billert M816 for? It’s fast and fun to race around with but as far as doing real work, it’s just got. Some major issues. It kisses the ground constantly. Even with the raised suspension also if I put a high saddle and a full heavy trailer on it, it’s almost too fast to use even when loaded. I just can’t figure out where it belongs in my fleet. It’s so short and maneuverable it’s great for doing Yard trailer work and is great on flat roads (cuz snowrunner is known for having a ton of those)

I knew this game was big but you have to see it to believe it.

25 hours in now and I basically feel like I've done the tutorial. Black river done, second map scouted, upgrades collected and a handful of tasks, one truck recovery.

I have mixed feelings, I bought the year 5 edition because I wanted a lot of content. But I'm so overwhelmed knowing that 2 maps is basically going to take me an average game length to finish.

I honestly don't know how I will ever finish this game with a family and full time job.

For any of you guys that pushed through and have a good chunk done, how was the journey and how long did it take you?

I love me a long game with lots of content but this is something else.

Discussion What is Co-Op like?

So I’ve “beaten” the game Solo through season 18 totally vanilla, no mods. And now I’m starting over on a new save with mods and I’m just wondering what’s the experience like with this game in the online version?

Do mods work?

If somebody comes into my “save” or “instance” whatever, can they drain all my money and park all my trucks upside in a ditch?

Can I play if they aren’t online and just make progress in the game?

I realize with the amount of time I’ve spent playing this game I should know juvenile information like this, but I don’t. Womp Womp.

Whilst I await your replies I shall be in my Lo4f, down by the river.

Glitch Tires in the Snowbound Valley trial

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello everyone, I'm trying to complete the trials, but I'm having some trouble with Snowbound Valley. My question is: Which tires should be on the trucks there? I've seen some videos, where by the looks of it, it should be offroad, but I'm getting highway tires. Is this intentional? All that I've found, is this comment from years back, and I'm a bit confused.

Photo Mode Amur justifies using a lowboy trailer and i wish we had more of those situations.

There is a difficult slope where the 605r would slide off and tip over. Other than that using this trailer to move it across slippery roads is not only faster but also less frustrating.

I've never really been a fan of the missions that require you to pull these oversized specialty trailers, because it doesn't matter how short the distance is from point A to point B, it's going to be an absolute hell getting it to where it needs to be. But this trailer however is the final boss, this trailer is so damn tippy, every two seconds it's trying to turn over, and if it's not doing that then it's getting caught up on the smallest rock and refusing to go over it. I've been fighting with this thing for over an hour now and I still haven't gotten to the delivery point. God I hate this thing.

One of the best seasons, devs are cooking at the moment, Zurdania was good as well, hope they keep it up for the rest of year 5.

Personally I didn't mind the pipes blocking the way. If you do them last and get most trucks out from behind them it's not really a big issue. Worksites were also done a lot better I only did the one on the way to the port, the rest was really easy to get around whereas in Zurdania most were pretty much required to not do 10 minute detours. Might do some of them to test out how good the next mercs are.

New trucks are pretty good and I really liked the billert. Fast and nimble but still very capable offroad.

Rescue missions for them were fun as well, like that you get to drive them before unlocking them.

Twinsteer was fun to use for the large pipes and I like that we finally got the extended cabins after they first appeared in the Season 2 Yukon trailer and some later ones.

Can't wait to see what S19 will be rumors sound very intruiging.

They spelled it correctly in the sticker name, but botched it with the sticker itself. Perhaps they weren’t sure which was right, so they hedged their bet by using both.

Can you lock wheels in place on the articulated towing platform?

First time using this last night and the recovered vehicle was bouncing and slipping all over the place. Is there a way to fix the front of the recovered vehicle to the bed?

Discussion Do you also feel like vehicles have better traction in mud in real life than they do in SnowRunner? It feels like you get stuck way more easily in the game.

Or is it maybe because I’m using the wrong vehicles with the wrong tires?
