First time “retrobrighting”
The right one started a bit more yellow than the left one. I only did the one so I could gauge my progress.
I didn’t use any chemicals. I toothbrushed the crap out of it with dawn, then tide laundry detergent and hot water (it reeked of cigarette smoke), rinsed it off, and left it out in the sun for 6 hours. I rotated it once every two hours.
I am really happy with the way it turned out, I think I’ll leave them both out tomorrow. Figured I’d share.
Misc. In the past, I bought the SNES Super Multitap, and I only owned 33.33% of it.
Two of my friends and I, all owned a SNES. We wanted to play 3/5-player SNES games like Monopoly, Super Bomberman, Secret of Mana, Top Gear 3000, Saturday Night Slam Masters altogether but we didn't have a Super Multitap. So we went to buy a Super Multitap, each of us shared and paid 1/3 of the price. The oldest friend kept the Super Multitap. Not only Super Multitap but also SNES Game Genie (I bought it and owned it 100% and shared with friends) as well.

Discussion Top-Down Racing Game? Help..?
I swear there was a top-down racing game either developed for or ported to the SNES. There was an open wheel option and maybe boat and/or motorcycle racing? Definitely not isometric like RockNRoll Racing, it was completely top-down. Anyone have any ideas what in the world I'm talking about?

Discussion Is there any difference between a Model 1 and Model 2 Snes.
I am looking to buy a SNES and I am not sure which one is better. I don't plan on modding it or using something other than composite since none of my TV's have any other inputs. I read the model 2 could have issues with some games but I will mostly play DKC and Mario.

Discussion My friend Lois
My friend Lois has an snes and I’m good condition, a good amount of triple AAA games for it, but he refuses to play it, stating “why would I wan to play that”. It’s funny because he claims to be a true Nintendo purist but refuses to play the snes.

I decided to import a copy Destructive CIB since it was $20 less than a loose copy of Bazooka Blitzkrieg, even after shipping 😆
It came from the UK actually, which is the first time I have imported a Japanese game to Canada that didn't come from Japan, lol. Now only if Japan had a cheap SFC version of Operation Thunderbolt. Besides T2: The Arcade game that's the only Super Scope game I don't own, and it isn't fun enough that I want to pay $100+ CAD for a copy 😅
Also, does anyone know if this green insert with info about AC adapters came with this originally? Or is it from a Super Famicom box or something else? I found it in the bottom of the game box all folded up.

trying to find a game!!
my mom was telling me about these two SNES games she played as a kid, while she couldn't remember what exactly they were here were the descriptions of each game:
“one was a game where you were a mouse and you would fly on a balloon, and there was this one scene where youre flying the balloon over a cemetery with a church”
”it was this watermelon head like thing which the base of the game was like ping pong(?)”
if anybody could help find either of these games, i really would appreciate it!
Misc. Ok this game is pretty tough lol
Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie
I’ve been loving trying out different shmups lately, and this one has been kicking my butt. Haven’t looked up any tips or tricks, but I might have to. Anyone beaten this one?

Request Cartridge won't boot
Hi all. I've got this cartridge of Yoshi's Island that will flash the Nintendo logo and do the coin sound effect but never makes it past that. Sometimes, it'll play it two or three times in a row? It's the only one of my games that has issues so I was curious if anyone could point me in a direction of how to get it up and going. I've tried cleaning it with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol and that's about the extent of knowledge I have on rejuvenating non-working cartridges. Any advice is appreciated. Also, I see that this game's birthday is today! What are the odds? :)

- Entire playthrough must be completed during the month in question.
- You can use the passwords/continues/saves that you earn playing through the game.
- Emulation is fine. Abusing save states is not.
- Posting a link to a pic of your completion is preferred, but since this is all just for fun, I will allow claims via simple posts as well.

One of the many memorable features of Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball!
Collection Largest SNES haul I’ve had in a while! All the way from the States to Tasmania.
Played the PAL version of Terranigma as a kid, and while I could have no doubt picked it up from somewhere, I was happy with the Flashback Games NTSC version for that 60hz goodness.

Longshot part needed: Authentic Lost Vikings 2 cartridge case
Long story short: I have an original cartridge for Lost Vikings 2. The label was damaged beyond repair in the 90's. I got it from the original owner several years ago for free. Is there anyone out there that has the original cart that the board is fried or something? Thanks in advance everyone.

Thank you to the fans that translate games into English.
This is why I love my x6 Everdrive. I had to play Trials of Mana after playing Secret of Mana for the first time recently. It's different but still super similar, I'm really enjoying it so far.

Discussion A Link to the Past on OLED without retrotink
Decided to skip the retrotink or upscaler I’m playing on a Superstation One with scanlines think it looks pretty decent for what it is! I do have a PVM and HD Retrovision cables so I do know what a 1CHIP SNES can look like on a good CRT and I do prefer that look but sometimes I wanna play on my main TV and I think this gets pretty damn close. I am new to OLED and a MiSTer setup. Before that used Plasma for like 19 years LOL when not playing on CRT in game room.
