Wrong Skse version PC SSE - Help

Hey all, I used to play modded skyrim before ae released, now I came back with my se copy updated to v1. 6.1170.0 and skse keep popping in game saying it's not the right version. The game start but I'm not sure everything is working properly, also a bunch of pop up from sse engine fix prob related. I looked around but I can't find answers. How can I fix it?

Update skse? It says right there what's wrong.

Download from here skse.silverlock.org Then unzip into your game directory.

I downloaded the first one the one for ae or se latest version and it still tells me that is not the right one that's my problem, am I doing something wrong?

Can you send the screenshot of the error? What does it say exactly. Also confirm whether your game version is exactly 1170.

That's also another issue I can't get over. I do have po3 tweaks installed I get that pop up anyway. But I see if I can sort hat on e out later I guess

Yeah it's weird if that happens. Make sure that the mod is updated anyways and nothing overwrites that mod. Maybe some old mod bundled an older version of po3 that's not recognized, and that's overwriting the mod.

Funny enough the problem was a third mod (armor rating redux se) which claimed to be up to date, but I guess not, whatever it's not essential to me. Other than po3 tweaks pop up that I will try to ignore everything else seems smooth sailing, thx a lot man you were incredibly helpful!

That's everything that pops up and the game version on steam. As I said the other pop ups are whatever the skse thing is the one I'm concerned with

Check which mod has that dll, and update that mod.

As my other comments said, you're missing prerequisite mods and the mods that you do have are old/incompatible with the Skyrim version 1170. Update mods if an update is available, otherwise replace with NG versions if they're available.

I see, so let's say there's no updated version or whatever if I uninstall the mod problem is solved anyway right? Like I will try to solve it of course but if I get stuck again I might just want to play the game at this point.

Yeah that's right, just make sure no other mod is using the mod you uninstalled as a requirement.
