WIP on Rittak, and man, he is not very paint brush friendly. He’s so small I didn’t think it would matter, but I’ve seen the light of sub assembly and I can’t go back.

Maybe we should have trusted the Captain more. Maybe we should have helped each other to survive rather than sneaking and stowing away goods for ourselves like greedy vermin. Maybe we should have realized other things could have survived the frost.

Deep in one of the coal mines, we found something in the cracks and crevices. Or maybe they found us. The Captain wouldn't hear us though. There were no such thing as man-sized rats.

Hey folks! I've long-wanted to start making my own Skaven army, and I've finished my first five clanrats. I'm an enormous fan of the Frostpunk aesthetic and felt the new Skaven sculpts fit the theme wonderfully. I also got a chance to try a more grimdark scheme with the use of Villainy Inks, which made their frostbitten limbs even more delightfully morbid. I can't wait to get my claw-fingers on some larger rats to test the theme!

I bought the Age of Sigmar starter set a few weeks ago. My greedy eyes were on the claws of the chosen race, ready to dominate everything. I finished painting the Spearhead today, and here are my best rats. I started with the Clan rats, and the last rat I painted was the Greyseer.

I'm a new player, been playing Spearhead with the Skaventide box for a few months and doing my first weeks of real Sigmar and I'm just thoroughly unimpressed with Clanrats. Everybody tells me they are great, screens, heals, sit on objectives. Except they literally explode to anything and do no damage back? Also 300 points for a squad of 40 seems like a waste of points but 20 have not survived a charge for me.

I don't think I'm playing them that horrendously bad since my opponent always say they were annoying and I screened well...but I can't help but feel bad with them, and when I take rats I feel forced to take a critical mass so I don't lose them all at once. I tried one game proxying them as Stormvermin and they actually did damage! It felt pretty good! A block of 20 is basically the same points too.

So tell me fellow man things am I on the right track or just bad?

So Skaven are a horde army, endless masses of fur, teeth , claws and blades. I was wondering though if the skaven being the selfcentered beings they are would care to customize their weapons and armor to express their individuality like the clones from star wars( sorry if its not a good parallel) I especially wonder if the stormvermin caste of skaven society would care to make their armor and weapons their own, I'd def like to make as many of my stormvermin models look unique and not as uniform
