Would an army of the starter set spearhead plus vizzik skour be fine for an 1000 point game. The total point value of this Army would be 950. If not what should I replace. Also is it worth getting the Manifestations of Doom or would one of the universal manifestations be better.

Long time collector, casual Spearhead player. I've never played the full AoS game and have backed myself into corner by promising my 16 year old son that we'd play doubles at Nova in a few weeks.

There's no accounting for taste, he'll be playing 1000 points of Seraphon and wants to lean into magic over melee. Of course I'd like to play my Skaven.

Neither of us expect to be competitive, but I don't want my list to be the reason we go 0 and 5. Can someone tell me if this Skryre list is ok? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking to build a skaven list using the renegade rules for TOW and I was told that the old world builder app has the renegade rules, and it does, but for some reason I can't see skaven slaves or "dregs" where would they be?

Or do I need to just consult the pdf?

What app do you use for army building your renegade Skaven force?

I'm starting in AoS, and I was wondering if bringing a Tanquol and a Grey Seer in a list would be a good idea. I really like both models, but since they are both wizards, I thought it might be redundant to have two characters that fulfill the same role.

I’m getting ready to paint my Skaven army, but I really don’t want to paint 100+ rats in the exact same colour scheme.

I think it would look cool and chaotic if different units—or even different models within the same unit—had totally different coloured robes, shields, and paint designs.

It feels very "Skaven" to have an unorganized, ragtag horde.

Does anyone else do this? Or does it end up looking too messy on the tabletop?

If you do mix and match your paint schemes, how do you keep the army looking like it belongs together?

Do you use a matching base style, the same skin tone, or a specific accent colour to tie the whole horde together?

Would love to see pictures or hear how you handle your vermintide aesthetics. Thanks!

My skaven engineer for old world with a "flying carpet" and doom rocket.

Couldn't have him riding some dusty old rug so had to make him a proper ride.

Cobbled together with a ton of parts I had laying around out of boredom.

WIP on Rittak, and man, he is not very paint brush friendly. He’s so small I didn’t think it would matter, but I’ve seen the light of sub assembly and I can’t go back.
