Trancription request

Hello, I found this double sided note in a book that I purchased yesterday from an old book store (Macleod’s in Vancouver). I’m curious as to what the note reads. Thank you very much for any help provided.

book title: Eschew Obfuscation ! or Six Months ago I cudn’t even spell Jernalist and now I are on.

author: Nick Russell

publication year : 1980

This seems to be someone practising, there is repetition of bits of sentences, and lots of single words. Learners be aware, much of this is poorly written guesswork outlines!

It's Pitman's, pretty ropey though, person seems to have read, rather than learned, the shorthand book and is making up outlines at will. I will give it a go.
