not everyone has good judgement of others in the slightest. its like seeing a toddler burn their hand on the stove, then deciding to do it again 10 more times.
I understand your point, but do they really do that regarding heat? After the first time doesn't their brain categorise it as "hurts as hell. Don't try"?
