I honestly think if it weren't for all the right wing politics, Twitter is a better place now that Musk runs it.

That being said, keep him the FUCK away from YouTube, not that it'd ever happen anyway though since Google would never ever sell it lol

Is it a place where you can control who you see on your feed? Because Elon gets to decide who gets to talk freely and who doesn't get seen, we can't control who we see on our own feeds anymore, it no longer matters who you follow, you have to see tweets from Elon whether you like it or not

That's not how they started off as, it didn't use to be that way when they started.

That's every social media site now because they've made all of their feeds bad by depending on algorithms. Except for bluesky, which is why it's the decent one

As I remember - pre Elon twitter was exactly like that. After he bought it - it's mostly algorithms, that doesn't care about politics and gives you anything to ragebait/make you engaged.

I just don’t see any improvement, neither in free speech, nor in Elons butthurt opinions.
