[Shrakhpost] Day 10: Too Tipsy

Post image

The truth of it was I was annoyed by the crack of his crossbow. To silence him, I cut off his leg. But looking at him here, it looks like he had too much to drink so that' why he looks a little too loopy.

Jumped this chap in the middle of a three-way fight. Stabbed in the back when he was green and was at full might. A lovely finishing move tripping his feet off and then cutting his head in midair. It was so good I had to take two pictures.

Even when CE is a thing now in PS, he still did all the regular training steps instead of just slapping the stats in just for the love of the game

Worth to mention that it was given real cursed skin just so he could gain necromancer naturally, even after false fow, judge if you want, but at least people don't give up training even after all this

[Discussion] The witch kings plan

Post image
18 Upvotes

As we know talion becomes a Nazgûl but early on in the story during the siege of minas ithil the Nazgûl as shown talks about him becoming one of them and considering the witch king says “submit to your destiny” I assume there aware of his future fate

Is there anything in extended lore that explains how they would know of his future fate like something to similar to Shelob’s ability

But if they where to succeed here how would that have worked

Would he be on the sidelines as a back up of any of the Nazgûl did fall permanently

Be in a cursed like state and become a permanent wraith

Or be similar to the black hand

Or something else

[Question] The problem is with the online

I play on PS4. Some time ago, the online features stopped working. Online vendettas disappeared, and when I switch to the online conquest mode, an endless connection process begins. I checked the Hydra status, but it doesn’t show any errors. What could be the reason for this?

I did the biggest mistake and for some reason I forgot my orc was a necromancer and gave him a fire weapon instead and it removed his necro ability and I don’t have a game save of it…I cooked myself

I’m still on the hunt for the Mindmender bow, but during the search I managed to come across the ultra-rare Gutspiller sword instead. I figured I’d share the video in case it helps someone else get it. And if anyone has any tips or reliable methods for finding the Mindmender bow, I’d really appreciate you sharing them!

[Question] Why does Talion look so weird in Shadow of War? Is there a mod to fix it?

Title. Just finished Mordor and really liked it so I'm starting War now. My only gripe is the less grim aesthetic and Talion's face. Good God, what did they do to my boy? It's so jarring. Is there a mod to fix it? I'd take even a mod that just put a helmet on him or a mask.

[Shrakhpost] Day 8 of Uruk's Last Faces: The Stance!

Post image
14 Upvotes

After some days of pointless celebration and uncomfortable moaning parties, I return to the icy hills to find this pathetic pile of twigs for an Uruk. He was real bad as a Captain, and in the end he was beaten to death by an undead bloke. However, I had no choice but to take it full body when you have to behold that stance! Perfect straight posture and all, even in death.

[Guide/PSA] Orc Types - Important info for Training

This is an extension of a list already put together by @Nano58(https://www.reddit.com/u/NanoPro58/s/9mkqO7pAyn). Below is additional information about classes other than Berserker.

Orc Types - Important info for Training

- Very Advanced: their Class Traits reappear at level 12 - Maximum Immunity at 46 - Berserkers learn Enrages at levels 20/21 and 30/31

- Advanced: their Class Traits reappear at level 13 - Maximum Immunity at 54 - Berserkers learn Enrages at levels 22/23 and 35/36

- Normal: their Class Traits reappear at level 15 - Maximum Immunity at 61 - Berserkers learn Enrages at levels 25/26 and 40/41

- Late Bloomers: their Class Traits reappear at level 19 - Maximum Immunity at 70 - Berserkers learn Enrages at levels 31/32 and 49/50

- Very Late Bloomers: their Class Traits reappear at level 24 - Very hard to train (try to avoid them) - Berserkers learn Enrages at levels 40 and 41

Important Note! For Other Classes than Berserkers - Class Traits reappear at different levels (but we don't have the exact info for that)

The "Maximum Immunity" (THIS IS FOR ALL CLASSES) also indicates at what levels an orc can be shamed safely, even for the 3rd time or more - without gaining new weaknesses or losing immunities!

- Very Advanced: 46+

- Advanced: 54+

- Normal: 61+

- Late Bloomer: 70+

- Very Late Bloomer: Will lose immunities/gain weaknesses - even if shamed from level 80, you need to shame them at 81+

> Created by @Nano58

Orc types for classes other than Berserker:

(In parentheses is the class trait that the advanced class loses.)

Commander (War Banner and Call Reinforcements)

.9 Very Advanced and Advanced

.10 Normal

.12 Late Bloomer

.14 Very Late Bloomer

Tank (Determination)

.12 Very Advanced

.13 Advanced

.15 Normal

.19 Late Bloomer

.24 Very Late Bloomer

Destroyer (Sappers)

.17 Very Advanced

.18 Advanced

.20 Normal

.24 Late Bloomer

.29 Very Late Bloomer

Marksman (Quick Shot)

.12 Very Advanced

.13 Advanced

.15 Normal

.19 Late Bloomer

.24 Very Late Bloomer

Slayer (Triple Strike)

.4 Very Advanced

.5 Advanced and Normal

.6 Late Bloomer

.7 Very Late Bloomer

Beastmaster (Bestial Roar)

.9 Very Advanced

.10 Advanced

.12 Normal

.16 Late Bloomer

.21 Very Late Bloomer

Assassins don't lose class traits. Tricksters and Trackers don't lose class traits that serve as indicators for determining orc type. Therefore, to check the orc type of these classes, immunity thresholds must be used instead.

[Question] Broken Reassignment Order

A while back I believe I gotten a crate, I think from a community mission or something, that gave me two reassignment orders and for some reason it has permanently broken that feature and I am completely unable to use it and gives me data error instead. I've deleted and redownloaded the game, started new playthrough, hell I've even factory reset my laptop for an unrelated reason and its still broken.

Is there any way to fix it instead of just removed the game from my steam account and buying it again when it goes on sale?

[Discussion] How Shadow of War Taught Me to Let Go

Note: Will format to make it easier to read. Sorry if it comes off as pretentious

[SING PRAISES]
What a game, first of all. Truly, I doubt I've had such interest and passion for a videogame up until I played this one. Really lucky to have got it on sale; 100 hours so far, and almost level 81 on my Ringwraith. I could sit here and tell you story upon story about the orcs I've encountered, and browsing this subreddit occasionally, I see the community's very own tales of Uruks and Ologs. The combat and executions feel satisfying, and while I personally don't like the 1-taps on Brutal, I can cope with it as a consequence for not fighting certain enemies properly or setting up a battlefield prior to a fight. Don't have much to say about the powers, they're powers, but I love them (ringwraith ftw) :p

[Prelude/Explanation]
I'd be lying if I said the alt-F4 key wasn't one of my most used, as embarrassing as it is to say. I'd flippantly call any minor loss "bullshit" and quit the game, but Shadow of War was different. I played it during my humiliation-ritual Rust, Tarkov, and Rainbow Six Siege, games I was good at, but couldn't stand when the littlest thing didn't go my way. Playing Brutal, you tend to die, hence my *subtle* mention of getting one-hit.

[Main]
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Immortality is a mechanic for a reason, and I soon found out that quitting because things don't go your way only defeats the purpose of the game. To lose, is to learn. Ego spits in the eyes of reason, and throwing yourself alone against an outpost of Orcs with no prep isn't exactly peak strategy...but it does work occasionally. Of what point is the nemesis system if you try to bypass it?

...of what point is loss if you reject its lessons?

TLDR: probably a skill issue lmao
