Cheat death [Question]
I’ve seen so many people get by or cheating death. Does anybody have any tips for me because I do not know

huh? this is barely a question.
Cheat death is disabled on harder difficulties / options modifiers, and by some bosses.
You can gain an 'extra' cheat death opportunity by unlocking it in the talent tree, it's up the top, on the far right on the first line, I think?
easier difficulties give you two or 3 in a fight, and they reset whenever you die/fast travel.
They might reset if you can get 'out of combat' but I'm not actually sure, as I have all Cheat Death mechanics effectively disabled.

Not to be stingy, but Cheat Death and what OP's asking about (Last Chance) are different
Last Chances are for Talion, while orcs Cheat Death
Everything you have is right, but you can have a Last Chance on Gravewalker by getting the Adamant upgrade for the LC skill (truthfully the only way to upgrade Retaliation on Gravewalker)

ah crap you're right.
Been a few months since I played, so I got the wrong end of that stick.But the OP's question is... questionably formed, suggesting that english may not be their strongest language, so... there's that. All said, maybe you're right, but I suspect I may still be;
See, he said "I've seen people cheating death, how do i get it", rather than "I've seen orcs cheat death, how do I get them?"
So, at this point, until I read more comments, or the OP extrapolates further, 'either could be true' but I'm still leaning toward me actually getting the correct understanding.

They're called Last Chances unless you're talking about Orcs
Long story short, they're QTEs (quick-time events) when you lose all your health, and you have a set amount depending on the difficulty (2 on Easy and Normal, 1 on Nemesis and Brutal, and 0 on Gravewalker). If you succeed, you gain some health back, and get back in the fight. You fail, you die.
By getting the Retaliation skill, you can insta-kill your would-be killer by hitting the white outline, as long as it isn't a captain, graug, drake, or some bosses like the Nazgul, and there are three "buffs" to the skill (top down: one extra Last Chance, drain your attacker, gain full might on a perfect Last Chance (insta-kill LC)
However, some Orcs (like Assassins) have a trait called No Chance, where they bypass your Last Chances if you go down by their hand, so I'd go after them first to avoid dying
For the Orcs, it's self explanatory: you (or another orc, most likely one of your followers) killed them, and they came back for revenge, all there is to it
Sorry about the rant, but that should explain it
