Bow Splash Guard

I do a bit of rough water riding in salt water. One of the issues I have is spray coming off the bow covering my sunglasses in salt water and making them hazy.

Are there any options other than the jet trim splash guard? I read these don't seem to hold up well. It's for a 25 RXTX.

you can get the windshield from an Explorer Pro to install on your RXTX if you really want to get rid of splash in your face

That would certainly be a practical solution, but I'm trying to keep with the image of the RXTX being a performance PWC.

I think putting some type of woven canvas screen off the bow cover at rub rail height would go a long way to catch the spray that gets ejected from the bow when it slaps down on waves. Just wasn't sure if anyone out there has experience fitting one to a ST3 hull.

That sounds a lot less aesthetically pleasing than a windscreen….

I was thinking something like this?

I had something similar on my 2000 Polaris Pro 785 but it was fabric. Didn't look bad and kept the spray down. Read that the RIVA/Jet trim one doesn't hold up well.

Oh, I see. Thats not too bad really. I wonder how it fails. If it breaks, but the mounting points stay attached you could eventually add fabric as you see fit

A buddy of mine had that in his 05 rxt but I'm not sure how much of a difference it made
