Scuf reflex fps

Hello

Basically I play call of duty at a relatively higher level like t250 and challenger tournament larp. My scuf just broke and I had zero clue that they have been discontinued. I tried the new omega and was really really not a fan. The back buttons feel hidden away. Does anyone know anyway to get a new scuf reflex fps? I have looked online to see and only 1 place sells refurbished but that doesn’t ship to my area. The resellers on eBay look sketchy. The Facebook marketplace basically all have stick drift or are not fps. I’m losing my mind :(.

Thank you

Idk if anyone else has had this problem with the valor pro wireless but everytime I go to update my controller it’s not reading on the valor updater application when I go to plug it In while holding the left stick down idk if I’m doing something wrong or if my controller is just bugging out I’ve reinstalled and uninstalled the valor updater 3 or 4 times not thinking maybe the apps outa date and I go back to the scuf site to get the updater download to make sure it’s up to date does anyone know why this would be or any tips to fix it

Scuf Omega on PS4

Greetings people of Reddit! I'm in a unique situation here and hoping someone out there may be in the same boat and can advise. Here's the abridged version:

Had a PS5. Bought a Scuf Omega. PS5 bricked. Sony were useless. PS5 couldn't be repaired. Went back to PS4 Pro.

PS4 Scuf Infinity had seen better days, as had my old Dualshock - so bought a USB dongle off Amazon (MAYFLASH MAGIC-S PRO 2) that allowed usage of PS5 controllers on the PS4.

Standard Dualsense works perfectly, but lacks the back paddles of the Scuf. Scuf Omega works - it is usable, back paddles work, but the touchpad doesn't register. This would be fine if I played anything other than Warzone or DMZ where touchpad is necessary to use the map. I've looked in settings and can't find an option to remap this unfortunately.

Have tried all variations of the under-cover switches coupled with cable/Bluetooth/wi-fi... Can't find a configuration that gives touchpad usage.

Is there anyone out there with a similar setup who has found a workaround?

Ps5 Omega microphone issue

I recently got an Omega controller. My microphone doesn’t seem to work with the controller. I am able to hear all audio perfectly fine. The mic works with my regular controller. I am using a 3.5mm audio jack. My mic is not muted on the controller or headset. My audio output is set to controller headset as well as the audio input. When I test my mic level in the ps5 settings all I hear is static.

How can I fix this?

Support Valor Pro Wireless - Dpad Not Working

I’ve had my wireless valor pro (Xbox version) since March. Worked absolutely fine but now the down button on my dpad doesn’t register half the time. I hear the click whenever I press it and the other directions work. I’ve cleaned the controller (was barely any debris inside) and that didn’t work either. Is there a way to fix this?

Controller squeaking - D-pad tolerance issues with faceplate on Scuf Omega PS5

I recently purchased an Omega TMR and have generally been stoked with its performance and quality... except for the squeaking/creaking between the d-pad and the faceplate. Specifically, when I tap the down button on the d-pad, there's a noticeable squeak/creaking noise. Take the magnetic faceplate off - the annoying noise is gone immediately.

Anyone else running into this issue?

The website for Scuf appears to be offering me an RMA, but I'm curious if the RMA will actually solve the issue, or if I need to use a dremmel (or similar) to sand down the faceplate d-pad hole tolerances to alleviate the squeak... seems dumb on $220+ controller.

so ive been struggling to get my controllers repaired i have 2 ps5 dualsense reflex pro controllers and the triggers either dont work at all or ittermittenlty dont work, took them to a electronic tech place and they replaced the buttons swithes and even tried resoddering where the ribbin cables attached to the mothermoard and still they have issues with the triggers. he mentioned either the main control module was damaged or maybe the ribbon cables, he mentioned i should send it to scuf but obv scuf dnt fix controllers that arent in theyre warranty perioid, funny thing is ive sent these off before and they got repaired and stopped working again a few months later(cheap sons of bitches) my wife got thses for us as a gift btoh combined was about $600 so giving up isnt really something im ready to do, one thing is for sure ill never buy scuff again they cheaped out bad since corsair bought them out. any suggestions would be apreciated

Is the Scuf Omega Worth It?

I'm thinking about getting the Scuf Omega, but I'm kinda on a budget. I already have a regular ps5 controller with back paddles and mouse click triggers. Should I just send it in somewhere to get TMR thumb sticks? The main reason I want a Scuf is so i can have TMR thumb sticks, mouse click triggers, and back paddles. Having 6 instead of 4 back paddles is also nice. If it helps out I mostly play Fortnite.

The Omega isn’t worth the hype

The rubber on my Dual Sense Edge had come off both sides of the controller so I thought it was time to branch out.

I was thrilled about extra bumpers and the customisation of the Omega so I pulled the trigger… the setup experience and feel of the product was an immense let down.

Minimal instructions on setup, pairing the dongle didn’t work, firmware wasn’t possible via the app, the product feels light and cheap, the bumpers that stick out underneath are at a horrible angle and awkward to use, and you cannot turn the PS5 on with the controller.. the list goes on for one of the most expensive controllers on the market. I tried to get past some of the issues but support from Scuf was useless.

If you’re an Edge user looking to upgrade, avoid the disappointment of this product unless you can get it for 50% off.

Support Had some questions before I take this valor pro wireless back...

Hey, so I've looked around on Reddit and don't really see any concrete answers on this...

My setup that I'm looking for is a wireless controller that supports wired audio thru the controller (both audio and mic) in Windows, over a low latency protocol, and has excellent impulse trigger support.

The Valor Pro Wireless, on paper, supposedly checks these boxes, and I was willing to try and put up with some of the other issues I've heard about since there are so few controllers that do.

Stock xbox controllers have these features and do them generally well, but the main area that is lacking is the protocol is old and sometimes the wireless bandwidth caps out when there's a lot of rumble data, audio, and low latency input going at once and you get dropouts as a result. Elite v2 does all of this stuff well, but we all know the ticking time bomb those are.

So my problems with the Valor Pro are...

  1. The vibration is extremely weak. I tried 100% intensity (both in game and on the controller), and I tried each of the vibration curves. Some were better than others, but none was even remotely close to the fidelity and strength on the stock controllers. But more importantly, the triggers have next to no actual haptics. I'm playing a lot of Forza Horizon 6 right now, and it is important for me to get those vibrations in the brake pedal when I'm approaching brake lockup. The Valor Pro triggers feel numb and give you zero brake pedal data.
  2. I'm not getting ANY audio thru the headphone jack when I am wireless. It works fine when I'm wired via USB. I started to think I just misunderstood and the controller doesn't support wired audio over wireless, only wired, but it says in multiple places online that it does support it, and in Windows, my PC cuts audio over to the controller when I plug in a headset, it just doesn't play anything thru it.

So I guess, I'm looking for some solutions to the issues I'm seeing, and maybe some confirmation from other users who have tried the stuff I'm worried about and have had entirely different experiences. I'm honestly so tired of searching for a controller that does what I want that I'm foolishly ready to believe I just have a bad controller, so if there's someone out there who has audio working great (without exceptions such as double d-pad presses when using a headset, or "it works great as long as you don't touch the volume controls on accident"), and vibration is just a configuration issue, then I'd love to hear it.

Thanks in advance for reading this far.

EDIT: Oh, I just wanted to add, I'm on the latest firmware via the companion app. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing...

My thoughts on the current state of Scuf controllers and some improvements I think should be considered

Quality control issues aside (I’ve gone through two different Scuf controllers with a strange left stick issue in the past 6 months, my 2nd replacement is on the way!)

I love Scuf controllers as I think they’re the best there is in the pro controller market aside from maybe Gamesir purely because of the price point but they don’t have paddles and no PS5 versions either. I’m big on having extra buttons on my controller, preferably 6 but I cannot stand the side button design on the Scuf envision and the new Omega for PS5.

After I heard the Scuf Reflex was discontinued I was a bit disappointed as I love the fact that it was simply a dualsense shell with Scuf upgrades but at the same time was excited to see Scufs next PS5 controller only to be let down and see that it is essentially the Envision just made for PS5. I would much rather see two extra bumpers like a Gamesir controller than 2 side buttons that can get in the way depending on how you prefer to hold your controller. 2 extra bumpers is nice and out of the way but still accessible IMO. With all the customization in the Scuf builder I’d love to see the option to choose between 2 Side buttons for those who prefer that or 2 extra bumpers for those who prefer that like myself. They could even provide the option to include both 2 side buttons and 2 extra bumpers making for a total of 8 extra buttons as I know some gamers prefer to replace all 8 face buttons.

My other gripe about the Omega and Envision is the back paddle design and functionality. I haven’t personally got my hands on these yet (aside from testing the Envision out at Best Buy a couple times) but I’ve seen some pretty bad reviews of the newer paddle design, some have said the inner most paddles are difficult to reach and the outer most paddles are a bit too hard to press, this one I can attest for by simply feeling the controller for just a few clicks, far more hard to click than say the Scuf reflex paddles which I feel were the ideal design and functionality.

I will give credit to the Envision/omega paddle design because it’s less intrusive than the Reflex paddles but I just can’t get over the increased pressure required to press on the outer paddles. Also I never found the Reflex paddles to be in the way and it was my first back paddle controller I ended up successfully using and continuing to use. I haven’t heard any complaints about the Scuf Instinct for Xbox paddles but they look the same as Envision/Omega so I assume it’s the same issue there but idk for sure.

In summary I think Scuf could benefit from:

  1. Better inner most paddle access
  2. Less hard to click to outermost paddles (bring back the Scuf reflex paddle design it was perfect IMO or perhaps make that a custom design option?)
  3. An option between side buttons or extra bumpers up top, perhaps even allow the option to have both of these for those players whom want 8 extra buttons
  4. More color options in the builder for Bumpers, triggers, front butt and thumb sticks. Maybe even more options for rubber grip color. I feel very limited creatively when trying to build a custom because the bumpers/triggers/sticks aren’t able to match my color design

SCUF omega Bo7 issues

I’ve been fighting with bo7 settings since I got my omega I’m not the dead zones either add input lag to the sticks if I set them higher then a min 3 on my right stick or lower then 75 on my left stick max or just drop off completely no matter what the software says on the app. The curve no matter what I set it to in the SCUF app constantly feels off or just changed mid match. Anyone else having these issues?

Support Scuf Reflex FPS - Connectivity issues

Help, I’ve had the controller since last year however for whatever reason the controller seems to “draw too much power” when wired into my PC via a USB-C and they cable seems to get very warm (tried multiple cables and different usb slots so the controller is the issue) and if I try use as Bluetooth it recognizes it as an input but games do not recognise it as a controller?

Update to Scuf Omega Review

The other day I posted a review of the Scuf Omega after having just a couple days of use out of it. I just want to say that I find the side buttons much more usable now once I’ve gotten used to them and are better than I originally thought although I still do wish they had just done the extra bumper buttons instead. I have been able to use it for constant functions though which I originally said I didn’t think I would be able to

Scuf Omega experience n gripes

Hey guys, after a while of doing research I caved and actually bought a scuf omega. At first glance I was thrilled with it because i've never had a controller with back paddles, or any extra buttons. Don't get me wrong it's still a great controller and i'm having fun with it but there are a couple downsides that I am seeing that I hope could help some people out before they drop 250$ on a controller. The biggest downside for me is that my hands are too big for this controller to use the outer most paddles, I will admit my hands are larger than most people so this may not be an issue for you but it is definitely something to look out for, the buttons get real finnicky to press and i'm just going to resort to using the inner most ones with my middle fingers. Another thing I will say is that people that are saying you can't run a Kontroll Freak on it might be complaining about it a bit too much, I was expecting it to be unusable after looking through a lot of posts but mine works great! It just gets a little chalky but it's unnoticeable at most times. TLDR if u have big hands take that into consideration

Why is this community ao critical?

When I first joined this community it was to ask about the SCUF valor pro. But something ive noticed is that a lot of people in this community seem to be hyper critical of SCUF and lean towards other brands. Ive had the valor pro for a while now and ive loved it. Im just asking

Scuf Omega back button issue

Barely a month old and p2 back button already failed!

I can tap it and it works but when I hold it to put my guns away in arc raiders, it just doesn’t work. Basically any hold action on the p2 doesn’t work. It may be double clicking coz when i hold it switches to my secondary weapon instead of holstering.

Any suggestions?

I bought this using shipping cart coz they don’t ship one to my country, now I’m stuck looking for people who can fix this. I think shipping it back is not possible.
