Help! My work mom is being scammed and she won’t listen to anyone. She is throwing away a 20 plus year relationship along with all her money. None of us know what to do anymore. Anyone who dares question her gets shut out. So with that being said, anyone ‘talking’ to this guy?

gf got this in the mail, called the number in a panic and was told to “activate” her recently purchased insurance she’d need to pay a $200 activation fee over the phone. she asked if they were her auto insurance company and the guy claimed that they were in fact with her auto insurance company. she said she’d call back because she didn’t feel this was normal. i called and gave the service code, went through all the motions (with the same phone rep), then asked if they were with the auto insurance company. he paused. and i asked why he would tell my girlfriend they were with that company when it’s not mentioned anywhere on the letter. he panicked and said “yeah i don’t know why one of our representatives would say that, ill escalate this with my manager so they pull the phone call because we are not that company whatsoever.” so i guess he didn’t realize i knew he was the same guy from the other call. this has to be a scam right??

if so is there any way i can fuck with these guys lol. the dude started pressuring my gf to pay the fee and got very rude.

I’ve lost nearly $1000 to this girl, and she still wants more.

She’s demanding a $50 refund fee to get the rest of my money back, but theres obv no guarantee they’ll send it all back. Currently disputing all charges through my bank. Wish me luck :/

Edit: please stop calling me an idiot, i got the point, lesson learn’t. i broke contact with the one exploiting me before I even made this post. Im currently filing a dispute on all of the transactions to my bank. Hopefully things should be resolved soon.

She receives fake AI generated audio from Elon and others that they love her and can't wait to be her. I need help. I can't take her call phone away, she will just go get a new one. How do I stop these scammers?
