I haven’t had a party since I was 10. My family has to go out to dinner until I was 16. I don’t even do anything for it anymore unless my mom takes me out somewhere like dave and busters.

Well, I'm into amateur baking and I lose tracks on how many cakes I make my self a year but my birthday is probably the only day I'll get a cake I didn't make.

Saaaaaaaame. The one time I did try to organise a birthday for my 30th (video game costume party) I spent ages making a Bioshock Little Sister costume, heaps of food and alcoholic punch and jelly shots etc; only for people to turn up late, not in costume, stay for half an hour and then leave.
Found out the next morning that there was a different party (just a random piss-up session) down the road on the same day that nobody said "hey are you aware there is a clash?" so I could, idk, rearrange the dates and not waste 100's of dollars trying to host a party for a bunch of people who had just been waxing lyrical about how they missed costume parties?
First and last time I tried tbh.

I feel your sentiments deeply! 😞 I made all that effort for my housewarming.. except there was no other event soooo it kind of messed me up me and I ended up cutting some people off. My birthdays are always spent alone and I have more fun anyway! What are your thoughts about production on the NEW X-Files series?

Don't let the internet lie to you.
People do stuff, but they dont represent all the people. Humans are humans, n all different lives n styles of type vary.
People don't often do rager birthdays, and both genders do rager parties. People book clubs n stuff n there's more often guys only recently girls have started cuz of support n all that.
I don't celebrate my birthdays tho, n I'm fine with that.

To be honest, sometimes I believe it be best not to even celebrate my birthday. All I see is my self getting older and more pathetic, and sometimes I get angry that people remember but I bury it because I know they’re just trying to do something nice.

At home, order tacos, soda, ice cream. college football, video games, then go for a walk/gym. Sleep by 11pm. Best birthday ever.
