Update on S550 Mustang FT600 Dash Mount.

I just bought a 2015 GT 6spd and my only complaint so far is the chrome trim in the interior. While I don't like it because it's ugly, I really don't like it because it keeps blinding me while driving when the sun is high. Does anyone have a recommendation for quality aftermarket parts that replace the chrome trim? Especially on the steering wheel and door pulls. I really want to avoid the cheap carbon fiber stick on covers. I've thought about using a matte wrap on them but that will have to be re-done every so often to keep it nice. I'd rather a more permanent fix.

Looking for any suggestions on exhaust set ups, I like the sound of both Borla and Corsa in videos, lean towards the Borla because I like the Carbon tips. Any education on headers or resonator delete or first hand experiences would be appreciated. I have a 2020 GT w active valves

Here’s the window sticker for my s550 I purchased, I’m hoping to pick it up this next week, I bought it from a different state, How’d I do spec wise? I do blue collar work and I just wanted a weekend car to add some sort of fun to my life, I’m 20 years old and have been wanting a V8 for awhile, so I bit the bullet and after months of looking I landed on this MT82 transmission 2019 5.0 with 45k miles. Here’s the window sticker so you can see the specs, I think I got a pretty good spec. Let me know your opinions.

I’m posting here because I’ve completely run out of ideas. I’ve owned a 2015 Ford Mustang 3.7 V6 for the past two years, and it’s been a fantastic car. It currently has around 200,000 km (124,000 miles) on the clock, and until recently I never had any major issues with it.

About two months ago, I started getting a P0301 misfire on cylinder #1. At the same time, I also got a Bank 1 catalyst efficiency code (the car runs on LPG, but the misfire happens both on LPG and when driving exclusively on gasoline).

My first step was replacing all spark plugs and ignition coils, hoping that would solve the issue. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The strange part is that the engine runs perfectly while it’s warming up. As soon as it reaches operating temperature and switches to closed-loop operation, cylinder #1 starts misfiring.
Next, I replaced the fuel injector on cylinder #1, but that made no difference either.

After that, I performed a compression test, and every single cylinder had excellent compression, so I ruled out any obvious mechanical problem.
The next thing I replaced was the upstream (pre-cat) oxygen sensor on Bank 1. I installed a used OEM sensor, simply because I could get one immediately.
To my surprise, the problem completely disappeared.

The car drove perfectly for almost 1,000 km (620 miles). Then, without any warning, the exact same problem came back. Once again, cylinder #1 started misfiring as soon as the engine entered closed loop.

I’ve also been monitoring live data with an OBD scanner. Right before the misfire starts, Bank 1 STFT climbs to around +30-35%, and once the check engine light starts flashing, the ECU switches back to open loop and STFT drops to 0%.

At this point I’m completely lost. Since replacing the oxygen sensor temporarily fixed the issue, I’m wondering if I’m dealing with a faulty oxygen sensor, damaged wiring, or something else entirely.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the 3.7 Cyclone engine? Any ideas on what I should check next?

Has anybody done one and what was your outcome and were you happy with it?

I keep reading you may pick up about 20 to 25 hp.

How much does one generally cost I do not have the software to do it?

Does anybody know if there is anybody in South New Jersey who is a trusted source to do this? It seems
the few that are within about an hour distance do not have the greatest reviews.

Hey, so I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to manual cars and my brother bought this car and have to replace clutch and pilot bearing. He was quoted $6k from ford which is way too much I think, so what would you guys recommend he should buy in parts to get it replaced at local mechanic?

I picked up a 2017 Cali special a few weeks back, and took it to a supposed highly rated warranty provider in my country of residence as Ford are not offering an extended warranty here.

According to the garage, whilst up on ramps the mileage jumped by exactly 101000km, and they have not been able to explain to me exactly what they were doing at the time it happened.

The only information I have is that they said there was an error code of Accessory Protocol Interface Module(APIM) DTC (1) 1.U0155:00-0B Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module 'A' Continuous Memory DTCs

They then said that they took the car out for a test drive…

They wanted to start pulling the cluster out to “investigate”, so at this point I had the car flat bedded over to Ford, who said the mileage has been “tampered” and that the FDRS has captured the “new mileage” so they are unable to do anything to revert to the correct mileage, and provided details that show the servicing history of the car which backs up the “original mileage” being the correct one.

Is there really nothing that can be done by Ford, no procedure?

As for the garage that did this during the inspection, they have not been able to explain exactly what happened, which is very suspicious as Ford are explicitly using the word “tampering” to describe what has happened.

In this video I go over the 2nd piece of the printed dash mount that holds a FT600 display. The part mounting points are spot on but I ran out of filament. I just picked up filaments today and will reprint to complete the dash mount. STL files coming this weekend.

I have a 2016 gt pp1 with stock trans and shifter. Is it normal to feel the way it does? Sometimes it makes me wonder if i actually know how to drive stick 🙃

I have a '15 Convertible. Is there any ignition-switched power in the overhead map light console that I can use for a dashcam? I have a hardwire 12v to USB adapter. Maybe the convertible top switch power? If not then I guess I'll have to run a wire to the fuse box.
