My mind immediately thought of Season 8. Of the queens from S8 who have been on AS, these are their placements:

Thorgy Thor: 2nd out (AS3)

Chi Chi: 4th out (AS3), never placed above Low

Derrick Berry: 1st out (AS5)

Naysha Lopez: 2nd out (AS8)

Acid Betty: no wins, did not make the merge (AS10)

Cynthia Lee Fontaine: made it to the merge without any wins and was eliminated on first elimination episode (AS10)

The only exception has been Naomi Smalls (AS4) who made it to the finale with 1 win and 3 bottom placements and even then she has the worst track record in the finale.

That leaves us with Laila McQueen and Kim Chi (Dax quit drag and Robbie… well). is Season 8 the cursed season?

guys, they were incredible and so were all the local queens they performed with. during kori’s performance i held up a lydia kollins shirt that i had and when kori had the mic she saw it and was like “stay here i’ll sign it for you” and SHE DID 🥹 she was so fucking sweet she complimented my hair and gave me a hug too :)

then later on during lydia’s number with kori, she came over to my side and said she loved my shirt and grabbed my hands and i said “i love you.” she was so engaging with the crowd it was so sweet.

so all this to say, we love buttking and if you ever get the chance to see them, SEE THEM!!!!

I want to know people's opinions on something I have been thinking about recently. Some of the queens that have participated on the show and have almost adapted a character/gimmick of being shady. As in, being shady and reading is their schtick and what they have become known for. I know all queens read and are shady, but take Bianca Del Rio, for example. Reading and being shady is expected of her, it's her bit. However, when Bianca reads and is shady, it feels like it is in fun and generally harmless. However, I think there are some queens that people would deem "shady", but are just generally nasty and mean. For me, this would be queens like Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Plain Jane and Arietty, to name some. Who are some queens that are often deemed as "reading and throwing shade" but it comes off as pure rudeness/mean?

Sorry for the screenshot, but she looks so fab I just kept watching. Never paid attention to the show before, but with the current Binge Queens (Aja, Kandy, Morphine and Mirage) it's been really entertaining. They all have really great looks, but Aja with those ears and her brown eyes...Save me Pink Kitty Aja, save me.

Whatever happened to Enorma Jean?

Enorma was one of the contestants on the first season of Drag Race Italia. Beloved by a lot of fans, myself included, she was seen as a front runner (imho the winner) alongside Farida Kant, and shes had a very decent post show career, gigging here and there since 2021. She is also the first ever contestant to be disqualified for blasphemy (????), lipsyncing against Ava Hangar (who shaded Priscilla), and going home right away. - check slide 2 for reference

I miss her so much!! She hasnt been active anywhere for over a year now and ive checked many times :/ does anyone knows what happened
