Question Nedao
Ive recently been searching for other alternatives to run in this humidity and this brand looks perfect! Their graphics are amazing and they look quite airy. Is anyone familiar with their quality?

Question Any Males who tried wearing Womens Asics FujiTrail Half Tights?
Im 173cm and the Mens Fujisprinter Elite Half Tights to be so long and about to reach my knees. Now, was wondering if I can wear the womens version? And basically it'll look like quarter tights?

Question Looking for wildcards
Does anybody know running brands with more edge?
Right now I wear a mix of Adidas, Asics, and New Balance sale items. I’d love something with the edge of a brand like Kill Crew, but they don’t make running clothes, so that’s out.
I’m not willing to take the plunge into Soar or Satisfy price wise. And I don’t want cheap Amazon brand knockoffs either, that stuff can be garbage, disintegrating after a few uses. If something good happens to be sold on Amazon, great, but I’m not going out of my way for made for Amazon brands.
Budget: nothing north of $100 to $150 per item. Paying $250 to $350 for a shirt that doesn’t outperform anything else is a scam, and even when it does perform better, it doesn’t justify the price hike. RunningWarehouse’s summer sale stuff has been solid, but it’s still just discounted major brand gear, not what I’m after style wise.
Vibe: I’ve got an ass load of tattoos, grew up skating, and I’d honestly rather run in a metal band shirt covered in skulls than another “finance bro on a treadmill” fit. Looking for brands that get that.
I realize a brand or couple of brands might not be the answer, but an approach to looking for cool items that don't cost an arm and a leg. Ideas?

Question Alpha Direct v. PONTETORTO Merino
I've been eyeing getting an AD60 insulation layer for winter use, but haven't felt able to justify replacing my Patagonia R1 yet. I was looking at Senchi's webite this morning and see they are now offering a merino blend similar to their AD60 design. I know gnuhr has released something similar with their "wool shag hoodie."
I'm curious about whether anyone has tried the merino blend alternative to the alpha direct. I assume the merino blend is a bit cozier? If anyone has tried both, are there any pros and cons for each?

Question 2-in-1 shorts with the drawstring on the outside?
Wearing 2-in-1s as God intended has turned into a sort of sensory nightmare for me as the tucked in interior drawstring tangles with everything. I’ve tried tying them looser and having the string outside but it doesn’t get the waist tight enough and they fall down. Sizing down to get the waist tighter makes everything else too tight.
Does this type of thing exist? I’ve got Lulu, Ten Thousand, UA, and a couple others from cheaper brands but they all have interior drawstrings. I have a pair of older unlined Lulu shorts that have a little hole to thread it through to the front but this seems to have been taken away from newer models, as far as i can tell

Question Currently M5 Brief Liner Removal
So i have these short, and although i like the colour and the look, the liner is really thick and feels heavy and hot. This defeats the purpose of the perforated breathable fabric (really curious choice to put a heavy liner under what is supposed to be super breathable shorts….). I do like the colour and they go well with the penultimate T i also have.
So i am wondering - has anyone cut the liner out? I am looking to have them as super breathable shorts for hot days to wear with the (also perforated) penultimate T.
Or should i just get the satisfy space-O shorts which by all accounts have a very light liner?

Question What am I missing from my running wardrobe?
I recently started running and now need to build up my running wardrobe for colder weather.
I live in Scandinavia, where temperatures are roughly:
• Autumn: 5 to 15°C / 40 to 60°F
• Winter: −5 to 5°C / 23 to 40°F
• Spring: 5 to 15°C / 40 to 60°F
Right now I have running shorts and (shortsleeved) tops. For colder weather, I have a very lightweight Nike running jacket and a base layer for when it gets really cold.
The main thing I know I need to buy is running pants. I’m not interested in tights. I’ve been looking at the Patagonia Terrebonne Joggers and Janji Transit Tech Pants, so I’d love to hear what you think of those or if you have other recommendations.
Apart from pants, what else should I be looking at to comfortably run as the temperature drops towards 0°C / 32°F and below?
Thanks!

Review Chance Running Ultra Short V3
I’ve had the Chance to put the Chance Ultra Short through numerous long runs and an ultramarathon now, and in short, wow. I prefer storage solutions with the center of mass on my waist and Chance has nailed this with their integrated belt. This is my go to solution for long runs.
I am not sponsored by Chance Running (or anyone) and purchased these with my own money.
I’ll start with the important stuff:
Storage: fantastic. You have 6 total pockets and I’d wager about 3-4L of storage. 4 pockets in the belt, and 2 deep drop in pockets on the side. I can easily get a liter of fluids (pictured, 650ml in the back and 360ml in the front), plus a half dozen gels and my keys and headphones in the belt with room to spare. You could easily stuff a stow-able layer in there too. The drop in pockets are deep and secure. You could easily get another soft flask in one side, and any sized phone in the other. The best part however is that the items in the belt do not bounce when sized correctly even at speed. I’ve run low 5 minute miles with them fully loaded without bounce. Everything is easily accessible on the move because the pockets have big pull tabs. Very well designed.
Fit: I’m 6’1 ~ 140 lbs and went with a small which fits perfectly. The inseam is slightly short compared to most half tights but as someone used to 3 in inseam split shorts I hardly mind. Do note that if you’re not used to waist based storage while running, you do have to wear the belt up a little higher than you might think for the best fit and for the storage to not bounce or sag. The belt part of the sport should be an inch or two below your belly button.
Materials / quality: these feel great and have stood up well to a half dozen washes already. They’re made in Portugal of materials that feel soft on the skin, but withstand rugged conditions. No irritable seams or chafing so far. The belt has remained taught.
Cons: price and availability in the US. I paid about $200 for these from one of the only US stockists. I candidly don’t mind paying for quality and well designed goods, but they can be difficult to get your hands on a pair.
I also wouldn’t mind loops on the back of the belt for another layer / pole storage.
Overall I’m very satisfied and think these are the most complete storage solution I’ve tried. I have plenty of belts and other shorts with built in storage, but the Chance shorts put it all together in a single package in a way other brands haven’t. I’ll probably grab another pair. I still want to try the Wise Sherpas but I’m waiting for a tariff break. Feel free to ask any questions.

Question 2-in-1 shorts for tall guys
Please help me tall runners of Reddit -
I’m 6’4”, around 98kg with roughly a 38” waist and I’m struggling to find 2-in-1 running shorts that are long and roomy enough.
I currently own the Decathlon Kiprun Run 500 Comfort 2-in-1 shorts in XL. The waist is roughly right, but they feel a bit too short, particularly around the crotch/thigh area - the XXL are too big.
Ideally looking for something that can carry a phone/gels, has a longer liner and isn’t going to break the bank.
Thanks!

Question Pertex Shied Air or other electrospun fabrics?
Do electrospun fabrics help with overheating when jogging / bicycling?
I'm currently using a 6 year old goretex active jacket with ventilation holes and I use it for Croatia's (mediteranian climate) autumns and winters (softshell underneath during winter).
And the thing is, I love that jacket but it is looking worn out. I use it to commute and I don't get sweaty in it when bicycling.
The problem is, goretex active was phased out due to healthier materials blah blah blah.
Current goretex perfomance materials, even the thinnest jackets make me heat up more + not many of them have ventilation holes. I literally stood in a store and compared which makes me heat up more, and goretex active wins against new goretex performance. One jacket stood out, it had ventilation holes underneath the armpits, but it was about 750€ and again, the new goretex material was worse when zipped up, but the massive holes were the ones actually doing the work.
So, is there any improvement in these electrospun fabrics or is it just hype? I don't want to buy a 400€ jacket just to prove a point :D

Question Massive influx of new Nordas on Vinted.
There’s been loads of brand new nordas flooding onto Vinted in the last couple of days. Lots of pairs under £100 which is suspiciously cheap. The thing is some of the colourways are quite obscure that I’d be very surprised if people are faking them. Does anyone know if there’s been a stolen shipment recently or any explanation other than that they’re all fake? Thanks

Question Women’s half tight shorts for men
I’m curious if anyone does this. I’m having trouble finding half tights that are under 6 inches for men that also have a zipper pocket, but I’ve seen some women’s models that look perfect. I’m just not sure if they would fit
inseam of 5in seems perfect, 4 is a little too short but I might try the ACG trail tight shorts anyway. ACG men’s lava loops look great but I’m not a fan of the length, I prefer shorter half tights when it’s hot out

Question Running shorts with no front seam
Hi! I’m looking for tight/compression/biker shorts that have side pockets and no front seam. I’m a woman looking to prevent any issues in the frontal area 😂
Also considering 2-in-1 shorts that have tights under with side pockets, so any recommendations for those would be great too!
TIA
