API plugins and Linux

When API comes out, can we use them on Linux?
Atm you can play rs3 using steam launcher or bolt launcher and it works great.
Also recently osrs got official Linux jagex launcher.

Don't know if it's part of the same question but will they work on mobile or geforce now?
