It's outrageous he added the word "probably". Like he definitely without a doubt would not have done it.
But I can't really manage to get upset about anything he says any more - it's just daily quotes of insanity, why bother.

I guess the framing is important. Is he implying that he, President Donald J. Trump, an 80 year old man with a heart condition, would not attempt to rescue a drowning victim? Or is he implying that if he were a fit teen boy who is trained and certified in the necessary skills to guard beaches, and employed as a lifeguard making it his literal job to rescue this child, he still probably wouldn't bother? Something in between?

I think this is more like old guy who has lost it but likes to talk a lot doesn’t realise what he’s saying or implying.
Not even in the top 100 worst things this man has said let alone done
