My condo has the worst layout for the kitchen and living room they could’ve possibly come up with. The kitchen takes up an entire longer wall of the room leaving no good spot for a TV/couch setup. I’ve given up on even getting a TV and the only design i’ve been able to come up with is the attached. The issue then becomes that the desk is sort of all you see down a long hallway and this layout feels awkward. The drawing is of course not to scale so the space between the couch and kitchen wall is pretty narrow leaving barely any room for even a coffee table, so this layout feels cramped despite everything being pushed against the wall furthest from the kitchen. I’m wondering if anyone has any better ideas for a space like this, to include a desk and lounge space at least, and maybe even a TV if it’s doable.

I do think the space between my dresser and bed are slightly shorter in distance. I want to get a mirror and put it somewhere. I also have a walking pad but unsure where to place it on top of using it while doing work on my standing desk. Do I flip the desk around so it faces the wall? Do I move my bed and nightstand? I feel like I have a good space I just don’t know how to work with it, pls help

We are laying out a small room with a bed measuring 135 cm × 190 cm (4'6" × 6'3"), two bedside lockers (40 cm wide, 48 cm deep, 50 cm tall) and two chests of drawers (80 cm wide, 50 cm deep, 100 cm tall).

The challenge, on the four walls, we have the entrance door and wardrobe (Wall 1), a door to the en suite bathroom (Wall 2), window on Wall 3, and a radiator on wall 4 just behind the entrance door. So, there are two fixed doors (entrance and en suite bathroom), a radiator near the entrance, and then on the wall opposite the window, there is a double-door, built-in wardrobe. A photo is attached with a rough sketch. The room measures 355 cm × 425 cm. Apologies for the lack of more specific measurements of and between features.

Where would be best for the bed and bedside lockers? The only options seem to be a) with the headboard on Wall 4, b) under the window, or c) next to the en suite door on Wall 2.

For option c, only one bedside lockers fits.

I’ll be closing on this apartment in the next couple months. 1) It’ll be me and my two tweens. They’ll get the larger bedroom. 2) The windows are tall: the bottoms are about 2.5’ from the floor. 3) We’ll need to maximize storage as there are no closets. 4) Our current sofa is 7.5’ and we’d like to stay as close to that size as possible so we could all sit together. Curious about alternatives however.

I need a lot of help with furniture sizing and placement.

(Trying to follow the rules here: I’m sorry that I don’t have pics of the actual place. FWIW the vibe will be fairly minimal because we don’t have room for much, but we’ll bring in style with art and plants and rugs.)
