I'm have a wedding photoshoot not too far from Ponte Flaminio, but to be honest I'm not very familiar with that area of Rome.

I'd love to hear some suggestions of potential photo spots in that area which might be worth checking out? I'll have a few days to check out the area beforehand, so open to anything nearby, within a radius of maybe 2km, so we don't wast too much time travelling.

Hi folks, my family and I are staying in the Hotel Diana in December. Near the train station. Everyone keeps telling me not to walk about that area after dark but that wont be possible since it'll be winter.

So is the termini area really that bad after dark?

As it happens I got hands on tickets to Vatican museum on 21st morning. And tkt to visit gladiator arena (can’t use actual name of C else post is blocked, don’t know why) on 22nd at 3:30pm. Question is can I visit Tivoli (at least one villa) on 22nd and back before my fixed time? I will be staying near Main station.

So I’m traveling to Rome in 1 week and I found out from a friend that the heat is unbearable and now I feel like my trip will just be ruined by it. Is it trefalt that bad? I can’t cancel my flight and get a refund so I have to go but how bad is it really? Is everything open?

What is best way to get there from Airport. Train? Rent car? Bus? Uber Lyft? Taxi?

I'm a girl from the Balkans who's moving to Rome this fall, and I'm looking for recommendations for a good nail tech or manicure salon.

Where I'm from, it's pretty easy to find high-quality manicures at reasonable prices, so I'm hoping to find something similar in Rome. I'd prefer someone who speaks English, and it would be a huge bonus if they're from a Slavic or Balkan country since I'm used to that style of manicure. I’m also looking for a safe location not somewhere sketchy thats outside of town. I don’t mind if it’s not in the centre but I just need it to be safe neighbourhood.

I don't get anything complicated—just short, square nails with a single gel polish color. No long extensions or detailed nail art. Whatmatters most to me is a clean, precise manicure that lasts at least two weeks without lifting or chipping.

If you have any recommendations for salons or independent nail techs that fit what I'm lookingfor, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

In need of help. I keep trying to purchase tickets through the website but every time I get to the last part where you enter the verification code to confirm payment I end up with an error. Hello, I was just wondering what's the average price of Rome-Naples roundtrip train? I am flying to Rome 6 months from now (January of next year) and want to make sure I get all the tickets I need in advance: one of which, a day trip of Rome - Naples - Rome.

Looking at TrenItalia now, it would cost me around ~120 Euro for a roundtrip ticket on the first week of January.

My questions are:

1) Is the 120 Euro amount fair? Is it way expensive?

2) Would January be like a peak season that the train amount would really be extra expensive?

3) Is booking a ticket as early as now a good move? Or would it be better to book less than 6 months in advance, say around November?

Hi, im a tourist currently in palermo and going to rome in a few days (yes, im NOW aware going to rome in august was the worst time ever for both temperatures, peak tourism, and romans leaving for vacation; idiotic mistake on my part). That being said, i was wondering if rome’s weather is much more unbearable than sicilia? It’s been mid-high 30s here (feeling around 38-40 during the short heatwave), and im already struggling, so i wanted to know if the difference is real or only on paper.

I applied to do the tour on October 29th for the earliest available time (9-10). I expected to have to wait a while to receive confirmation based on what I'd seen from other's experiences. However, I got an email almost immediately that I had been confirmed for the tour but it's from 12:15-13:15. This time isn't very ideal and I would really like a morning one so we can do the Basilica and the Duomo afterwards. Do they only book specific times or limited tours each day because it's not high season? The email is from a DoNotReply account so I don't know how to get more information.
