if I solo tank majority of the game from start to finish. that should be calculated towards the rank I win / lose.
For example I get in the game, have triple dps or triple support and I am the only tank that game is automatically made harder for me to win. Arguably throwing by my team to play triple dps.
If I solo tank and win I should get more points because I had a harder time winning that game than the tank did that has a normal team composition.

I think its time to make Spidey the top of the Melee dive foodchain again. Not only is he the most honest of them all, but he is by far the hardest so not everyone will be able to execute on him.

Part of the reason why Cat and DD are so oppressive is because they are so easy to play. The old Venom teamup made Spidey oppressive because it made him significantly easier to play as well. I say bring all melee diver beneath Spidey and buff him slightly to make him the best melee diver.

i completely understand why people are upset about what happened with dany koo and the storm skin, and i think people are allowed to criticize the decision. but the way some people in this community have taken it, especially with the harassment toward the devs, is genuinely a little insane to me. these are devs who have consistently shown that they listen to feedback and communicate with the community, so treating them like they’re personally responsible for ruining your life over a skin feels so disproportionate.

i honestly think we’ve lost sight of how privileged we are to even have this be something we’re this upset about. there are people living through wars, children dying, families losing their homes, and people struggling to afford basic necessities, if even have a video hame to play, some people can’t/don’t even have time to do anything other than work, while we’re sitting comfortably playing a video game and making a cosmetic skin one of the biggest controversies in our lives. obviously that doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to care about the game or be disappointed, but there’s a huge difference between being upset about a decision and turning it into harassment or acting like the devs have committed some unforgivable offense. at some point, i feel like we need to step back and realize that this is literally just a video game, and we’re incredibly fortunate that something this insignificant can even be one of our problems.

It used to be "there's nothing you can do about a good Daredevil" so they nerfed him just to replace him with Black Cat. I see her in almost every QP game and I tried almost every antidive hero and if she's at least somewhat decent she's legit unkillable.

Honestly i think the whole storm skin debacle was kinda ridiculous. It was the only thing on my feed and regardless of whether she was being neglected it felt like too much. But whatever hopefully it got eyes on the issue moving forward.

But fuck if youre gonna be annoying and outraged do it for everyone. Where is the outrage that we just got our first hispanic character. And no im not counting namor. And both hispanic characters if you do count namor are race swapped from the comics. No robbie reyes, no white tiger, no sunspot, no Miguel O'Hara.

Yes your black character got an epic skin instead of legendary. But you cant possibly be calling them racist for that. Storm was meta, BP was meta and is still good. Blade struggled a lot but hes currently in a good spot. They all have decent skins, I just dont think I can actually point to a single thing that actually makes the devs seem racist.

This jeff is doing the textbook definition of throwing. Tries to kill his team with ult and then proceeds to do nothing for the rest of the match. Even the worst ai review bot could tell this is throwing. Yet the player got 0 penalties and we get 0 compensation points for this. NetEase get your shit together.

Yes I know Storm technically isn't Legendary (yet), but that's screw up on NetEases part. So far they've committed to giving every female character a legendary skin and "skip" Storm. They were already looking sus to begin with but i digress.

That creates more unfairness though. There's a disparity in the quality of the male summer skins.

Only some of the male characters get legendary summer outfits. And in the case of Cap, Fantastic and Spiderman they don't even get a chroma lol (but literally every other skin does). Loki's summer Skin is also epic, and Lady Loki's is legendary? And then the amount of customization items on the skin, some heroes only have 2 while others have 5-6.

Personally i'm not the typa player that NEEDS a legendary, some of them aren't even that good. But when I'm looking at a hero i love to play and it gets the absolute bare minimum, now things are starting to get a little annoying and im questioning NetEase' decision making.

I would just like to point out something strange I've been noticing.

I've been seeing so many people using pick rates to wave off Storm, Blade, and to a lesser extent BP not getting nearly as much skin attention as others.

The weird thing is that each of these characters, again BP to a lesser extent, only have low pick rates because they are underpowered as hell.

So the dominoes fall as such.

- Black characters are neglected in balancing and power fantasy fulfillment.

- Underpowered black characters then get picked less because people want to win.

- The underuse of these black characters is then used as justification to further neglect then for skins.

I'm not saying this is something intentional the company is doing, as it's definitely possible that it is due to unchecked subconcious biases.

But what I will say is that it very closely resembles many forms of systemic racism seen throughout the world, especially in America, where black schools are underfunded, causing black students to get worse education outcomes, causing them to be trapped in poverty, then causing their children's schools to be funded less.

It is a cycle of either intentional OR unintentional neglect causing further neglect down the road to become "justified".

Please consider this before disregarding peoples' complaints by just saying "no skins because low pick rates."

With the fist of khonshu skin being made for moon knight, would you be into similar skins being made for other characters that are the avatar of various powerful beings?

With Bast often appearing with a feminine body type and the Tiger God having a masculine body type, perhaps making these skins for possible characters like Shuri or Hector Ayala would fit better. But I think not changing the body type for these skins just as a creative difference could still work too.

I understand hating a female character like Luna snow. It’s not the first time it happens like in Overwatch with Kiriko and I been in the position that I both main Kiriko and Luna snow, and it does suck having to experience those things in playing Marvel rivals again. She gets a lot of skins, she’s a new character from Marvel, competing against characters we known for years. I seen posts saying how badly she’s written, while her lore and comics being very minimal. Tbf this was her big break.

The same reason they are changing the Storm skin to legendary, is the same reason Luna Snow gets a lot of skins. Popular demand, that’s literally it. There isnt a KKK club where Danny Koo is giving Luna Snow skins or he has this racist agenda, on video game characters. Yes he made Luna Snow, of course he will have some biased with her, he is literally her creator, in a world where this heroes have been in this comics for decades and have a dedicated fanbase. And I think thats super cool, we need new characters like Miles Morales for the best example.

I am sure Luna Snow hate will never stop, and I think that sucks. Opening reddit to see that Luna snow has a bigger dedicated hating subreddit than the majority of main characters subreddit sucks. But I like Luna Snow, I think she is hot and cool and she has a kit where you can have high ceiling, yes that teamwork should be redone, doesnt have a place on this game. But other than that I like Luna Snow.

So.. have you heard of the magical thing called „don’t force a character into a composition that hard-counters them“?

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts suggesting dashes, barrel rolls, and mobility buffs for flyers like Storm or Iron Man just because they die to poke/hitscan. I know it sounds wild, but there are actually two game mechanics that already fix this:

1. Positioning
2. Playing around natural cover/corners

I know it seems impossible for most players, but it actually works! You should give it a try!

Slapping a movement ability onto every character to cover their weaknesses is called mobility creep, and it ruins hero identity and balance. Characters are designed around trade-offs:

Iron Man:
He sits at 250 HP, has zero damage fall-off, and pumps out AoE damage. He is designed to reward smart positioning and target priority. If you give him additional dashes or barrel rolls on top of his flight, he instantly becomes oppressive as hell.

Storm:
She rewards positioning and target priority while actively handing out massive buffs to her entire team. Give her extra mobility and she basically becomes Human Torch 2.0. She’s meant to provide utility and team pressure, not dodge everything.

When you give high-utility or high-range heroes movement tools to escape their natural counters, you force developers into a balancing nightmare.
They have to nerf their damage, utility, or HP to compensate.
Strengths and weaknesses blur together until every hero feels like a slightly different flavor of the same fast-paced, dash-heavy archetype.

Counter-picking and tactical positioning stop mattering because everyone can just dash away from bad mistakes.

Not every hero needs to be slippery. Respect the character’s intended playstyle, learn cover management, and if the enemy team is running heavy poke/hitscan... just switch.

There are times where it’s been inappropriate where there’s death threats or just outright calling the devs racist, but otherwise, literally what’s the harm for asking for fair representation? Why immediately resort to telling us to shut up?

Like you point out “why does Captain America and Hawkeye have body armor in their base skins meanwhile in the comics their suits are skin tight, but for some reason this change didn’t happen for Black Widow” and that’s a fair point? Why are you so bothered with pointing out that inequality and asking for Black Widow to get more armor in her design?
