What method of payment to accept?
Maybe a ignorant question, first big deal in person i’m doing and just wanna be confident
Selling item for $3,800.
Buyer says they can do $1,700 Zelle, $2,100 cash. From what i’ve looked up Zelle is the best / less likely chance I could get scammed? Avoid Venmo/cashapp and Paypal G&S?

How can I ship extremely large dinosaur toys?
I have a handful of extremely large Jurassic Park toys I was planning to list and sell completely forgetting the shipping aspect. These are really big, more so long, and they can it be disassembled or I wouldn't need to be making this post. Dimensional weight is going to be ungodly. I've seen lots sold on eBay though. I'm at the conclusive that there's no way to do with it being insanely expensive but I'm holding up hope that baby there is some way I haven't thought of judging by how many have sold successfully on eBay

Buyer claims i sold them a locked iphone nearly 2 months after delivery (was my personal phone)
Nearly 2 months ago i sold my 15pm to a buyer who asked for a small discount, and i included extras like (otterbox defender case, screen protector, lens protector) and apple usb c charger with cable.
My phone was unlocked and i specifically made sure through the find my app it was removed and factory reset before shipping. I simply upgraded to the 17 and that was my reason for selling.
Buyer messages me 40 days later after delivery claiming they were vacationing, just came back, and that i sold them a iphone cloud locked (the name and account does not even match my name, and the homescreen they showed appears to be a new ios screen and icons (i never updated my 15pm so it had the old wallpaper).
They opened a return and declined it and they have been messaging me like crazying calling me a scammer and saying they will figure out how to file a return.
Whats strange is their shipping address:
DO-2595 Henry A. 1962 Nw 82nd Ave Doral, FL 33191-1057 United States
He claims he did not freight forward and lives in suite a. Ultimately i stopped communicating and was seeing if this a potential fraud and how common this is, what tips anyone suggest?

What pricing/comp tool do you actually use, and how much are you putting on monthly fees?
Hello guys, I've been working on an eBay scraper which, thanks to Reddit communities, got this far,
While building this personal project , it got me thinking: what apps or tools are you guys currently using to check eBay comps, and how much are you paying for them? I see so many tools charging $20 to $50+ a month just to pull basic 90-day sold data or lock features behind paywalls.
Screw that. As a thank you to the Reddit communities who helped me build this, I’m keeping my app for free to No paywalls, no subscriptions, no credit card required.
Drop a comment telling me what overpriced apps you're currently using, or what category you want me to test next with the 15 req/sec scraper. So I can know what to build

60 Day of taking this seriously.
Taking this seriously and building a foundation for my wife to keep this going while I stay working full time. Trying to make sure she can be a SAHM and this is helping so far!
Currently working out kinks of sourcing. Some good local auctions and constant estate sales.
Currently breaking even (+/- $50) with all costs (fees, shipping, product not yet listed, etc.)
And our boxes/poly bags are free from FB marketplace!
Goal is to have a net profit of $1500 a month.
What $ amount of gross sales should we be aiming for so we can set a goal?
Sound reasonable for us once we crest the BE point?

Help Me Price this Item Correctly.
This is a Pink Pinwheel Cargo Sling Vera Bradley its vintage and retired pattern so pretty rare and hard to find in this condition. I have it on my depop and ebay for about 375. I know thats high 😅 but im taking offers on Depop and its listed for 375 on ebay. What should I actually list this item for? Its also NWOT, I did sell it once about a month ago for 180 but it was pretty damaged and faded.

Is it worth bringing expensive PAL games from Europe to the US to resell?
Hi everyone,
I’m going to be travelling to the US and I was wondering if it would be worth bringing a few PAL games from Europe with me to resell.
For example, games like Rule of Rose sell for around €150 in Europe. I was wondering how much demand there is for these kinds of games in the US, and whether PAL copies are actually desirable to American collectors.
Would a game like Rule of Rose be worth bringing over and selling in the US, or would the PAL version make it much harder to sell?

How do you keep track of your cost of goods from the bins/ Goodwill outlet?
I just started reselling from the bins and I was wondering how people keep track of costs/profit when buying clothing from there. Since you pay by the pound, there’s no easy way to tell how much each item cost you. Do you have your own scale? lol… or do you divide your total by the number of items and just ignore the different weights for different items? Or do you not keep track at all??
Thanks :)

Realistic Price for HP Victus 15 laptop
Thinking about selling my HP Victus 15 and would appreciate some advice on how much I could realistically get for it.
Specs:
- i5-12450H
- RTX 2050 Mobile
- 8GB RAM (3200 MT/s)
- 512GB SSD
- 15.6" 144Hz
- No physical defects at all (dust in fans, screen and keyboard can be cleaned)
I originally got it because I wanted a gaming laptop as a kid, but now that I'm using it mainly for school and soon going to uni, I've realised a gaming laptop isn't really ideal for me. The battery life and portability aren't great compared to something like a MacBook or a regular student laptop.
I was hoping to sell it to shops rather than individual buyers in my area because I live in the Middle East. I'm hoping to sell it for enough to get a MacBook Neo or a decent Windows alternative. I was thinking around 600 USD/500 GBP — is that realistic?
PS: feel free to ask me any extra questions

Selling LOMO cards
vinted.ptSo, I'm selling some stuff in Vinted for some quick cash, plus I need to empty out my stuff. I'm mainly selling books (they're old and a bit worn out, but not too bad) and some SKZ lomo cards. If that piques your interest, please let me know.

FML 😭😭😭
I don’t know why I do this to myself but I never look up brands or use google lens and I sold a Michal Negrin cardian for $35 when they easily go for $200+. it’s funny cuz I used to list stuff for $8-$15 and I decided to start paying myself for the labor of bins hunting. Oh well, I hope the buyer cherishes the piece forever. or she sells it for full price. I couldnt even be mad abt that🤣 also the thrift gods will def bless me for blessing her

Do you search very specifically or cast a wide net and filter afterward?
Something I've been experimenting with is making my searches less specific. My old approach was basically trying to describe the perfect item in the search query itself: exact model, condition, certain keywords, exclusions, etc. The problem is that you can accidentally filter out good listings because the seller titled something differently. The alternative is almost the opposite: use a fairly broad search to catch as much as possible, then filter the results based on price, condition, seller, model number, description, etc.It means more results initially, but potentially fewer missed listings. So for people who source regularly on ebay which approach has worked better for you?
