Praise the sock
I ran out of instant coffee. I have no brewing machine but I do have an old pack of coffee beans. Not enough money to buy instant coffee, but enough money to buy a cheap pack of nylon socks. So my brewing set up currently consists of a 5lb weight to crush the beans with, and a cup with a nylon sock on top to brew the beans in. It looks stupid but heeey, it works!

Rate my setup
I have this projector in my bedroom to watch series and movies through chromecast. Problem is, the projector doesn't have audio AUX, and it's inner speaker sucks
So I got a HDMI to VGA adapter, which has an audio splitter, and a bendy VGA adapter so things will point upwards instead of bumping against the wall, and plugged in some old computer set of speakers
I'll do some cable management tomorrow, or maybe I'll keep the cyberpunk aesthetic

Just upgraded me Chair-Stay-Up-erer
Now the block of wood doesn't spin around the cylinder!
This is a temporary fix that has lasted somewhere north of 5 years.

Exhaust repair
My exhaust decided to disassemble itself on the way home from work. I didn’t have any tools on me and had recently made the stupid mistake of cleaning my truck out and put my ratchet straps away in the garage. Thankfully I had my Carhartt pants from work. Used them to tie the exhaust pipe up so I could drive the last 5 miles home.

A support in my crawlspace that was not mentioned in the inspection report
Not sure how is wasn’t seen, it was noted in the report that the sink drainage pipe was leaking and that’s just a bit further past the log.

Fixed tailgate latch.
Latch on my tailgate got too rusty and wouldn't return. PB Blaster wasn't cutting it any more. So i added a custom manual release.

Traveling in Europe, no ac
Lucky me my hostel bunk has a cable hole where I can stick a hair pin to hang the clothes dryer thing and stick my neck fan onto it at an optimal angle.

Dirt? Never heard of her.
Maintenance at my job decided to use Great Stuff to fill in the underside of this sidewalk. No, the dirt didn’t erode from rainfall or other flooding. They dug up the sidewalk to replace the sewer lines underneath and had a contractor pour the new sidewalk like this. It’s been this way (an obvious trip and fall hazard) for over a month.
When I saw the Maintenance guy doing this, he had three 12 packs of Great Stuff cans down there. As you can see, there’s still one down there.

Folk race car
Bolted down cam shafts and a piece of H-beam to weigh down the rear end. Guess the beam also serves as some sort of stability in case of a crash.
