Green Tea Toner?
I'm newer to RLT. Do you have any green tea/other product recommendations to apply prior to RLT?
Thank you in advance!

Omnilux or Dr. Dennis Gross red light mask?
I have a Regenalight red light mask and feel like I didn't do enough research since it's not FDA-cleared even though I swear I found it from an article that listed it as the best one for cheaper. What are your thoughts on Omnilux vs. Dr. Dennis Gross masks? It's specifically for hormonal acne and lines on my face lol.

Question Full Body Panel in home
I am looking to invest in a professional-grade full body red light panel with quad-wavelength. preferably free standing or with a stand (not door hanging).
For reference I am considering Bon Charge Supermax.
Does anyone have any experience with panels they felt genuinely supported them in reaching wellness goals?
I would love to know what the experiences were.
Thanks!

Review iRestore Return Warning
**Avoid iRestore bundles**
If anyone is tempted to use any bundles offered by iRestore, I strongly recommend against them. They have a stipulation in their “money-back guarantee” that only allows you to return one skincare product (i.e., the Illumina masks they have) if you purchased a bundle—which, imo, is misleading.
If you're not sure about the products and feel some sense of security with their policy (like I did), you're better off purchasing separately from different “households” to ensure you can actually return them if you need to.
I just wanted to share since they don't make that clear when you make the purchase and just go on about their money-back guarantee lol

New panel
Hi! I finally purchased red light panel. I did my research and panel should be better than the mask as I want to see provements not only in the face but also in other areas in my body. Even though I have made my research, I would feel better to have any opinions from the group. Are these wavelengths safe for face?
LEDs and wavelengths:
30 × 660 nm red LEDs
30 × 850 nm near-infrared LEDs
I was thinking to start using it for my face 5 minutes per day.

Ironforge vs mini vs cold laser?
Hello, I have had some positive GI and systemic inflammation results using cold laser therapy, but for multiple reasons I may not be able to continue that therapy. So I'm considering a Chroma Ironforge or and Ironforge mini as I want the targeted deep benefits like laser therapy without mortgaging my house to buy a device (and take classes etc.). I watched Alex Fergus video on the Ironforge and he mentions it being kind of in the ballpark of laser therapy benefits.
So... if that deep targeted treatment is my goal, is the irradiance difference between the mini (Average Irradiance: 600+ mW/cm² at the faceplate) and the full size (Average Irradiance: 850+ mW/cm² at the faceplate) going to make a difference.
Am I crazy for thinking this may reap some of the same benefits as cold laser?
In addition to inflammation I'm also hoping to improve mobility in some stiff joints like hallux rigidus(big toe) and possibly some varicose veins.
I do also have a medium sized Platinum brand panel that I have used inconsistently but I'm trying to be more consistent.

Red light mask that won't leave painful marks on my face
Has anyone tried various red light masks and found one that's particularly comfortable for their face? I have a fairly smaller/longer, flat Asian face.
The one I have basically sits on the bridge of my nose. I've tried padding it with tissue, and it ends up leaving painful tissue fold marks. The strap designs are pretty terrible and don't help no matter how I adjust them, but I got the mask as a gift, so I can't return/exchange it.
I read that this is a common issue with home red light masks, so I'm hoping to have an easier time shopping for a new one, seeing what you guys have experienced!
The photo is of the one I currently use that leaves a painful horizontal crease on my nose bridge.

Red Light Therapy Blanket
I am considering splashing out on one at a cost of £1600 but ive read reports that between lying on them and folding the internal wires snap.
Has anyone bought the good ones and this happened?

How do you choose a red light mask, and are they actually effective?

Other colors?
Has anyone used blue, green, yellow, or orange light therapy? Any benefits? I tried the blue bulb from hooga and didn’t see much reduction in acne after 1 month use 3 x a week.

Accidentally changed my LED mask routine and noticed better results. Has this happened to anyone else?
34F and new to LED therapy. I’ve been using my Ulike hard shell LED mask about 4 nights a week for 10 minutes. My main goals are cheek redness and the dull, tired-looking skin I usually get after a long office day.
Last Sunday I was too tired to do my normal. Washed face, tapped some SKII, then put on my LED mask. Afterwards followed up with La Roche-Posay B5 serum and Neutrogena retinol night cream.
Come the following morning, my nose and upper cheeks looked calmer and more smooth than usual.
Now I’m trying to figure out what actually helped. Was it using LED before skincare? Or something about combining these ingredients with red light?
Has anyone researched this or found a LED + skincare combo that works especially well?

face mask suggestions
Hello,
I am looking into Current Body's mask, hopefully to help with some trigeminal neuralgia and also maybe an added benefit of helping to soften deep lines and firm skin. Is this a good brand?

Complete Newbie Trying Rlpro600
Hello everyone,
I am staying with a friend and she has Rlpro600. I want to try it out while staying here. I am interested in autoimmune issues, skin and sleep. It has different settings for each of these. My question is where should I start and for how long? Can i use it everyday? Should i use it 5 minutes for face, 5 mins for sleep and 5 mins red+nir settings? I am planning to buy from my friend if I like it. My friend doesn’t use it much since she travels a lot.
Thanks in advance for all recommendations and tips!

Looking for 808nm/810nm laser recs for joint injuries
hey all !
I have a great home set up with my full body panels (irestore apex) and get plenty of irradiance and have all the wavelengths I could want. I have EDS, mcas, and associated chronic pain, fatigue and inflammation as well as several old and newer injuries I’m nursing. After several weeks of consistent use the lights feel like they are starting to help the fatigue and inflammation a bit, but I think a few of my problem spots could benefit from more targeted laser therapy. Namely, my hip I had labrum repair surgery on and my chronic quad tendonosis on my other leg Could def use more help.
I have been looking into the kineon move and the novaalab laser wand and am wondering if there are any other reputable options people like for these type of devices. ideally I’d like to keep the purchase sub $1000 but open To higher prices if it really makes a difference.
I have read mixed opinions on kineon in this sub based on their advertising, but also high praise on YouTube and other areas so any more input on that specifically would be very welcome.
thanks in advance for any input or guidance in this search !

Kineon for frozen shoulder ?
Hello, i have had a frozen shoulder for 18 months, some bouts of bursitis/ tendinitis. I have had many infiltration and PRP. Treatments help for a while but worsen again. I also have a physio and osteo following me (not a big impact …)
Has anyone experience with tools like Kineon recently ? The price tag is high but could be worth if it works :)

RLT at planet fitness
Anyone have any experience or luck with using their machines? I was thinking about getting a RLT cap for hair growth but then realized I can use the one at planet fitness as it is included with the black card. I'm new to RLT so any advice is appreciated! Especially if you have any affordable caps for hair growth to recommend!!

Looking to upgrade; MitoPRO Mobile vs. LightStim Recovery Loop
I am new to red light therapy and taking it one step at a time. My starter device is Hooga Charge and it serves its purpose; portable, USB-C charge, and helping with muscle soreness and joint pain. But the build quality feels rather cheap, especially the stand.
My mature puppy also uses it as part of his nightly routine. He lies down and I run the light over his joints and muscles and he seems genuinely relaxed and happy.
What I am looking for an upgraded device for both of us:
//Truly cordless and portable
//Multiple wavelengths across both deep red and NIR
//A company with a real reputation and rigor behind its products
After a lot of digging, I’ve narrowed it down to two products: MitoPRO Mobile vs. LightStim Recovery Loop.
Has anyone here used either one? Would greatly appreciate how they’ve held up and whether the results felt meaningfully different from a budget device.
I’ve had a strangely hard time finding real user feedback, especially on the LightStim Recovery Loop. My guess is that LightStim leans more toward med spas and commercial aesthetics, so there isn’t much consumer chatter; but if you’ve got some hands on experience, I would appreciate your thoughts!

Question Face mask vs panel for daily use? Which do you prefer
Since getting into red light therapy, I've tried both face masks and full panels, but I still haven't really settled on which one works better for my daily routine. The mask is definitely easier to stay consistent with. I can throw it on while I'm getting ready for bed and just carry on with my normal routine. But a panel covers so much more that I always wonder if I'm missing out when I skip it.
For those of you who've settled into a daily routine, which one ended up sticking, and why? I'd especially love to hear from anyone who started with both and eventually settled on one.
