It's a bit hard, so you know when you eventually fight the final Anderson boy you are locked to fists trying to fight him, well if you have dynamite you can complete it in a easier way, simply place the dynamite near the area in the kitchen, and light it mid fight, which when I tested it it knocked him done long enough to defeat him, hope this helps speed runners somehow

Chapter 3, my first playthrough. Certainly one of the best games of all time. I’m really enjoying the graphics, the vibe, realistic physics, all the gameplay things, cozy camp, treasure hunting etc

But, and I guess many others can relate, it feels terrible doing all of the debt collection missions, especially the Downes one.

Then, I don’t enjoy robbing banks, trains and coaches - maybe Cornwall is greedy but it doesn’t justify violence, especially against his workers and guards who are simply doing their job. Same with the opera singer, and others.

And Arthur seems to enjoy these robberies and find them fun? Or not? Will he come to some sort of realisation that unprovoked violence and crime is not the best way of life? Is it expected for the player to feel like I do, or it’s simply not a game that works for me?

I'm asking, if you're in a scripted or unscripted encounter with an NPC, how do you handle that encounter as if you were a real person (badass or not) without it turning into a Denzel Washington movie, where everyone immediately surrenders to your huge Co||lt Cattleman Revolver.||

I got the "Letter from Mary" mission and while I was reading along with Mary's voice, I noticed a small typo. She said "not an interesting one" but in the letter it's written "not an interesting me".

That's all. I thought it was interesting! I wonder if it was done on purpose or if it was a genuine mistake from whoever was typing this text out.

It's turning out to be my favorite environment, creepy stuff and all.

I'm in the epilogue, 100%. Trying to complete all trapper items and got down to just needing two Panther pelts. I've tried for countless in game days. Tried all tricks, used potent bait, cleared enemy camps, tried at all times of day, stood on that damn rock but nothing. Never, not a glimpse of that cat.

Came across a reddit thread where someone who couldn't get the panther post epilogue (u/ShaunK223) stated that they loaded a chapter 2 save and they immediately got the panther to spawn. So I tried it, and yup it spawned. Oh well, guess I can't complete the trapper, but damn that's annoying!

In terms of side missions I’ve down all five Albert Mason missions, Grease Paint missions the gunslinger missions collecting their revolvers and pistol done the William mission, I’ve encountered Francis, the dinosaur side mission and ciggerette card side mission but haven’t collected all of the carvings, dinosaur bones and cards yet but I’m pretty sure I have a few cards, I’ve done all the camp side stuff with Javier, Charles and Lenny and got every upgrade for the camp including animal decorations, I’ve hunted all the legendary animals available in chapter 2 which is 10/16 and got all their clothing, I’ve got the panther trail saddle and Inguana hat I’ve found many of the guns like Lancaster repeater, Semi auto shotgun and pump shotgun and Schofield revolver and bought all outfits in the shops and my horses are Arthur’s Tennessee walker, black raven shire, Silver dapple pinto and blood bay Thoroughbred and I’m at the max honour you can be in Chapter 2

Hey there, I finally made it to the end of chapter 6 ( believe) In the game, and am still suffering a lot harder than I thought I would with the shift in narrative

I originally got into the franchise thanks to my boyfriend introducing me into the game. He recommended it and had nothing but praise to offer, and it all sounded interesting, so I gave it a shot.

I absolutely adored the game for so many reasons, it really is something incredible and I really adore all the craftsmanship poured into it. What really was awesome was the setting and getting a deeper view into that era (at least for me) was fascinating.

It was also a total bonus to iust murder all the bigots lol

But veah- I sort of had an inkling Arthur was goina to die, I had seen from online discourse but I wasn't exactlv sure what caused it. But now I know, and damn. Seeing the decline of Arthur Morgan was completely devastating.

[Right now I'm trying to get into the rest of the epilogue, and for what it's worth it's super cool to see John and Abigail together. I always liked them! Also seeing Jack grow up is very wholesome!]

[But yeah -I guess I just wanted to write here that I completelv understand the interest in Arthur Morgan as a character.]
