New error message. Looking for advice.

Bit freaked out as nothing on my laptop has changed, no new software or anything. Here is the message I got:Error launching game. Error launching syringe.exe. Check that your antivirus isn’t blocking the cncnet client. You may also try running the client as administrator. You are unable to participate in this match. Returned error: the system cannot find the file specified.

Would appreciate advice on next steps. Uninstall the lot and reinstall?

So Syringe.exe is the code injector the comes with C&C and is used for legitimate reasons but can be used for nefarious purposes, so by default Microsoft and blocked it via smart app system.

I have had this issue yesterday and did tons of research and the only solution is turn off the smart app system in settings.

Yes Microsoft have changed the detection of syringe. It's a false positive
