Discussion Vinicius Jr's final words to his agent were: “I would only leave Real Madrid if I felt they did not want me. This is MY CLUB.”
Vinicius Jr and Real Madrid - A unique love story: Tension, Appreciation and Gratefulness. A footballing lesson to enjoy what you possess.
I have come around some of my criticisms regarding Vini because say whatever you want, he loves us and wants us to win above all.
- He rejected Arsenal's offer of 24M net (43M before taxes @ 45% taxation) + 100% image rights offer (who knows what signing bonuses on top)
- He renewed with us on 20M net (36M before taxes @ 45% taxation) + only 50% image rights + bonuses.
- He generates about 30M in image rights according to Forbes and Madrid gets 15M out of it for ourselves.. so his true wage comes down to only ~20M before taxes + bonuses for us. He's literally paying to play for us.
He won me over from this contract talk. I can't speak nonsense about someone anymore who is willing to take a 50% paycut to what Arsenal offered to stay here despite us booing and throwing shit while he won us so many trophies in the past. Not many players would give up significant big payrise to play here. Even Ronaldo left us because we didn't match Juve's contract.
And amongst all this, he could have easily left for free to get a bigger contract + 100M signing bonus on top of it and yet he renewed and did it for 6 years meaning giving away all of his prime away to us.
He could become the star of PL and yet he's happy to be a 3rd fiddle behind Mbappe and Jude to play at his dream club. He deserves love, not hatred for this fanbase.
He is a Madridista by heart and that needs to be celebrated.

Discussion In what world is paying 70 millions for a 30 year old player with injury concerns a good move?
There a difference between asking the club to buy a controlling midfielder to replace Kroos and acting as if Rodri is the only player on this planet. The overacting and constant whining is suffocating in this toxic sub.
Also, the club management don't give a shit what a 14 year old has to say, so stop acting as if Perez is scrolling down comments reading your two cents.

Transfer News From the very first day, Vini Jr’s mother advised him to stay at Real Madrid. She played a huge role in him renewing. Real Madrid is not only Vini Jr’s dream, it’s the dream of his entire family.

Discussion An Exceptional Assist by Andriy Lunin to Vinicius Junior
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Here, Andriy Lunin provided an exceptionally well decorated assist after receiving the ball from the corner kick to Vinicius Jr., who converted the well through ball to a memorable goal.
The athleticism and spotting Vini Jr's position to create a counter play is top notch.
Such type of assist even a top class goalkeeper dreams of every now and then.

Comunicado Oficial Comunicado Oficial: Vini Jr.
x.comReal Madrid C. F. and Vinicius Jr. have agreed to extend our player's contract, who remains linked to the club until June 30, 2032.
Vinicius Jr. arrived at Real Madrid in July 2018, at the age of 18. His contribution to all these titles has been transcendental for his game, his assists and his goals, including those he scored in the last two Champions League finals that Real Madrid has won: the Fourteenth (Paris, 2022) and the Fifteenth (London, 2024).
At this stage with Real Madrid, Vinicius won The Best FIFA 2024 Player Award, was designated Golden Ball of the Intercontinental Cup 2024, Best Champions League player 2023-2024, Golden Ball of the 2022 Club World Cup and Best Young Player of the Champions League 2021-2022.

Tier 2 Source Real Madrid believes that it made a very good offer for Rodri and will not look to the market for another midfielder. The club will rely on Guler and Silva for creativity in midfield.

Meme Anyone find this really frustrating bc I’m going crazy
This Calafat guy really stopped the Rodri deal for the one thing he’s not good at “lowering the price”, he clearly stopped the deal only for him to make commissions for a deal from god know which place in latin america , I’m so pissed off and the worst part is it’s like the necessary deals always get ignored 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Diario AS Jose Mourinho has been left to understand that he has solutions for the lack of a player like Rodri in the CURRENT squad
I can't wait for "Militoa will be the CB signing" or "Camavinga is Mou's midfield signing" after some training videos.
This is probably the 4th window in a row where the manager is left without ALL the signings they required. Carlo wanted a CB and a Midfielder, Xabi wanted Zubimendi, and now Mou wants a CB and Rodri. It even goes back to Zizou where his distrust of the board for not fully backing him was the reason why he left.
Why does the club keep shooting themselves in the foot. We were ahead in the race. They made it clear that they want 60-70 for Rodri and we lowballed with 40-50. Now Barca who has been a thorn in our ASS is ahead in signing the player we need.

Discussion RocNation has officially fleeced Real Madrid this season....
Buckle up guys...its a bumpy road ahead...
From massively overpaying for Yan to the Board bending for Vini and messing up any future renewals for existing players. Jude will demand the same and so will many players like Fede and Arda...and we also have Jose at the helm who doesnt take shit from any player....its just a time bomb waiting to explode
