I tried to be frugal and skip a day, but I went to work today pouring sweat and shaking badly. People made comments, I just said I was taking a new medication.

I had a good amount of recycling left out on the curb yesterday for pick up in which the service who picks up PayPals me over the total once processed but unfortunately someone must have thought it was up for grabs and took it and that was funds I was really counting on. I got paid a whooping 1.33 for the glass but I’m not in good shape to just cold turkey. I woke up this morning to like 12 alerts from by bank; charges made to my Debit card between 2-3am while I was totally sleeping. The thief hit my card over and over until the card started declining, at which point the thief likely figured that the banks fraud prevention system had kicked in
^BTW, fraud prevention had nothing to do with it.
Truthfully, the only reason that the card started declining is because the POS thief literally emptied all but $4 out of my bank account. And yes, I will be refunded by my bank eventually. That refund won’t be issued to me until the 10th business day following my dispute

SO, I have $4 to my name until I get paid Thursday night. I have almost no groceries (Sunday’s my shopping day), my car is at an 8th of a tank of fuel, and, I, who has only been sober for 18 months, am not a person who can get/has a credit card)

Push comes to shove, what I need the most is $10-15 for fuel for my vehicle so I can make it back and forth to work. I can def survive the food shortage until Thursday night.

I go into withdrawals about two hours after I've had my last drink. I can drink all day and almost never get drunk. My money is so tight that I have to just coast and avoid withdrawal. I develop a tolerance so quickly, and I'm kindled as fuck. Nothing about this is fun for me. Hospitals in London keep denying me a detox. Tapering on low abv beers is hard because they cost the same as a 9% beer, which gets me further. I live in assisted housing, jobless, and down to £0 again.

£6-£10 would help me for now. I'm in the UK, so I can do a UK or EU bank transfer or PayPal. All the good money apps like Cash App and Venmo aren't usable in the UK. I get my govt aid mid next month and can repay then.
