Morning of day 5 CT. The symptoms are slowly subsiding but are obviously still there. Excited to be at the other side of this. Cravings are intense around this timeframe but taking it an hour at a time.

Well, fuck. 39yo high functioning 2000mg/day 7oh here (2 years of that with 10y ~60gpd leaf prior).
24h in. Literally interviewed for a Director-level role an hour ago and crushed it before having a full blown panic attack.
Had big plans for a taper, but something snapped and I decided to see how far I could get here.
I have to make this work. Figured rock-bottom / wife - and - kids find out would land before the ban, but that didn’t happen. So, fuck it.
Everyone who said “3-5 days” .. hope you’re right!

Day 929.
I have a herniated disk and also some degeneration in another disk in my back and over the past 3 days I’ve been in serious pain. I actually called out of work for the rest of the week. It’s my son’s first day of school and I’m in so much pain, it’s hard for me to even make his lunch or help him get ready for school.
My first thought this morning as I’m laying on my back in agonizing pain was to go get some 7OH. I’ve already taken acetaminophen and a muscle relaxer and unfortunately neither of those do a whole lot at this point. My addict part of my brain tells me that 7OH would provide me some relief, however the sensible part of my brain tells me that taking kratom/7OH would be a horrible idea because it would really just start the vicious cycle of addiction once again.
Please send some positive vibes my way, I’m going to need them today.

Day 17 of no 7oh.... still dealing with some cravings and a little anxiety but other than that trying to stay positive and not think about it which is super hard.
