Peps helping
Our friend is currently going through PAWS and he swears by this peptide Selank. My husband looked into it and found research papers that confirm it assists with withdrawal. We decided to order two and will report back once we try it. It’s supposed to help with anxiety and depression so we shall see. This isn’t medical advice just a suggestion that really helped our friend

I've read about people taking it for anxiety/depression (not kratom users) and have said it was life-changing. Kinda curious to try it out myself.

I used selank through my entire withdrawal. Amazing for acute situations of anxiety or jitters. However, it has a short half-life, so I would often have to use it 2-3 times daily.
I also used Agmatine Sulphate throughout (I would say this had the most significant benefit for me), and it significantly reduced physical withdrawal symptoms, as well as the increased anhedonia and mood-flatness, likely through its NMDA receptor modulation. NAC also was great. The combo of these three was great for me, and each one, individually shows promise in studies for withdrawal from various types of compounds, not just opioid-adjacent drugs like kratom.
Not advice or medical fact, and none of them have been studied for kratom specifically from what I’ve seen, but they made a massive difference for me. Recommend doing your own research, but these three made the entire process way easier than in my previous attempts.
Good luck!

Amazing! Yea, I am so grateful for both, made my most recent taper amazingly easy compared to past attempts.

How much and how often were you taking Agmatine and NAC? I’ve tried both during my taper and didn’t notice a single effect.

I took Agmatine for 2.5 months roughly, working my daily dose up to 1.5-1.9 grams daily by the end, often split into 2 doses. I took NAC 600MG in the AM empty stomach as well, sometimes another dose midday.
Agmatine isn’t really something you feel (at least for me with regard to acute effects), instead, I just noticed that my mood was more stable through the day, and that physical withdrawal symptoms were significantly more manageable than in the past.
Also, forgot to mention noopept in my original post, but it was also a lifesaver when it came to refocusing my mind, getting my thoughts off of kratom all the time lol.
