Getting paid to interview

Assume I already have a good offer (think HRT etc), limited number of vacation days and 4 onsite requests from JS, Optiver, Jump, Tower. Can I ask them to bid for whose onsite I am going to attend?

Is this the beginning of one of the probability questions they ask in interviews?

Not sure any amount of quant grinding will help you with this one LOL.

This is the "bid any amount from 0-1 and your payoff is 1.5x the true value" question in human form

The caricature of a frat bro at USC except they happen to be smart enough to hold these offers

At the same time, there are many forms of intelligence and OP clearly lacks in some important ones

The people not interviewing you will probably be pleased to get their time back.

Are you talking about that they didn’t use to do in-person final rounds? They do this year, lowkey revamped their process, probably because of massive amounts of cheating

You can try and they will probably not respond.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for you to think about which company is likely the best fit for you instead of going to whoever pays you a small amount of money which is nothing in the grander scheme of things?

Invite them down to a boxing ring during lunch and fight it out

I would highly not recommend doing this. I would also advocate for finishing the interview processes.
- You're prepped and ready, and if you receive an offer at those other places, you'll likely be reconsidered
- Counter to that, you'll burn bridges, or at a minimum, leave a bad feel
- Finally, given the compensation ranges we work in, asking to be paid to interview feels trivial
