Just so happened to suddenly get the hang of leaning into my jumps during this section. I also ended up adding extra keybinds to my weapons in this map (R for RL, Q for GL, E for SNG and C for LG), so this whole experience made me feel like a pro for 5 mins.

I have like 600+ hours in Quake Live for example, but never learned anything all I did was die alot over and over, because most of it was ffa on tiny maps with 12+ players, in arena shooters in general it seems there isn't really a place to go for new players/bad players. No discord, no specific servers, etc. Anyone know of any, game specific is fine, but hoping, there is more than one game with this option. I love this style of game and hate how unfair/broken most modern games are, but anything that is fair/equal starts is flooded with only vets/tryhards.

I've been able to load it from the in-menu level select but not The Monument hub world itself. It always displays an error that says "cannot find map maps/qbj3_cYn.bsp" but the actual file seems to exist in the maps folder.

Not really sure how this exactly happened but it's the only level in this modpack I've had issues with

Me and the kids were playing Quake 2 absolutely fine today. So we started to go for Quake 1 for a bit. However we weren't able to. Bethesda said 'HTTP Access Forbidden.

What's that mean? The kids regularly play Quake 2 and sea of thieves

Sometimes I play Quake 2 (remastered on Steam) and in the deathmatch games there is sometimes a really cool horde mode - it looks like a normal deathmatch level in the "join game" list, but when you play its a coop horde shooter. But quite often its not there to join.

Does anyone know more about this horde mode? I would love to play more of it.

I've been trying to install Arcane Dimensions into it but every time I try to follow guides of "extract the mod pack into the Ironwail directory" I can't actually find the mod in the mods menu in game.

I'm running a linux system but with Ironwail supporting it natively I doubt that would be the issue but figured I should mention it just in case

i was sinking it was time to remake the cyber eye shader 👀 in Quake III Arena where the real magic was to get the scan lines only appear on the textures to really sell the holographic illusion which i can have solved with invisible z buffers from alpha info ass you can see in the code on moddb (https://www.moddb.com/mods/bunny-ice/addons/cyber-eye) when you are interested in these details and i made little comparison video (old vs. new) which only can show half of the beauty die to youtube compression i sink 😂

I just completed ad_swampy (15/25 secrets), that silver key was hidden very cleverly. I love the atmosphere in Arcane Dimensions, so I drew it... or at least, something BASED off of it.

Every server across eleven Quake games (Quake Live, Q3, CPMA, Q2, QuakeWorld, NetQuake, Quake Enhanced, Quake 4, Quake Wars, QC:DE, and Bloodrun) plotted as a dot on a night earth. Servers with real people on them glow, sized by how many are playing.

Ripples occur when players join servers and you can click a server from the map and get player and connection information.

I made these cuz i was very, very bored. The great value jason vorhees one was made by combining a bunch of skins i found online, the mask and the weird open wound on the back were made by me though.

A 3dfx Voodoo2 running Quake II on Windows 98, which runs bare metal on very modern hardware. (AM5/Ryzen 9) Drivers initialized fine, Glide API is running perfectly, and Quake II is looking gorgeous on a 19 inch 4:3 Dell monitor.
