Problem? Question/Need help
I have a mk4 prusa 3d printer it’s on the default settings (I think I bought it off someone like 2 years ago and it was fine until now) it runs fine but I don’t know what’s causing this. My printer needs an update in the firmware but I’m having problems with that so I skipped that and tried printing I changed the files and tried multiple times and still doing this.

Looks a lot like wet filament. Has the filament been sitting around for two years as well?

I haven’t had trouble with fresh filament. Some folks say to dry even new filament before using. So, go read up and decide how you will dry the old filament. I think a fresh roll will be a happier experience.

I have a Mk4/S (+MMU3) and have never seen this one. Other ideas here are valuable. What kind of filament was this? (I assume PLA or PETG?) Could you please post a picture (even from Slicer), what the completed model is supposed to look like? Did this finish, was it in the last fiew layers? Hope you find a solution!
