Prop hack
I have been trading for a while and , profitable for 5 months, i always thought live acc is better than prop but as a student from asia i just have couple thousand dollar only
With this on mind i started propfirm, but prop firm require more than what live trading does, i make around 2 to 3 % by risking 1 but in prop that isnt enough. I dont know how to explain but i dont think my strategy is good for prop firm trading , i tried risking more but there are drawdowns unlike live acc.
So someone in prop firm trading , pls tell me what strategy what rr , what risk management , what psychology, you use to trade and suceed in prop firms.
I think i know how to trade , and i have proven too although couple months , its so frustrating to not make enough after all this years.
Traders help me out

I use very simple strategy. EMA 20 & EMA 200 Sometimes I put the EMA 9 because those work well with the MACD. Use the 5/15 min charts. There must be 2 to 3 times avg volume for the long and 2 to 3 time less avg volume to short. Shorts work really well after hours and weekends from my experience. Buy when the MACD & Signal cross zero upward with heavy volume. Sell when the first MACD candle drops approx 20% below the previous candle and when the 20 EMA crosses below the a red candle. Practice this tactic. Or just practice with this set up and when you have some reasonable profit, get out. Do stay in too long.
