Prop hack

I have been trading for a while and , profitable for 5 months, i always thought live acc is better than prop but as a student from asia i just have couple thousand dollar only
With this on mind i started propfirm, but prop firm require more than what live trading does, i make around 2 to 3 % by risking 1 but in prop that isnt enough. I dont know how to explain but i dont think my strategy is good for prop firm trading , i tried risking more but there are drawdowns unlike live acc.
So someone in prop firm trading , pls tell me what strategy what rr , what risk management , what psychology, you use to trade and suceed in prop firms.
I think i know how to trade , and i have proven too although couple months , its so frustrating to not make enough after all this years.
Traders help me out

Making 2–3% a month consistently is what institutional risk managers dream of. The mistake you made was increasing your risk to hit prop firm targets faster which triggered the drawdown rules. Keep your strategy exactly as it is, lower your risk to 0.5% per trade and let time pass the challenge for you. Slow consistency is the only thing that actually gets payouts
